Unsightly dark marks, resemble rash..very unattractive and embarrassing
Answer: Nice décolletage picture!
Likely your concerns arise from two issues. First pigment in the hair follicles and second hyperpigmenation in the skin from inflammation likely from ingrown hairs. Waxing is better than shaving. However, your best bet is laser hair removal. The service is very effective and nonmedical salons offer the service at very affordable prices

Answer: Recommend having a Pink Peel done to brighten the area Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Hyperpigmentation from ingrown hairs
Thank you for your question. I would recommend getting laser hair removal, this will get rid of the hair and reduce the tendency for ingrown's. You can treat the area with hydroquinone to help suppress the pigment which over time will help with the problem.
- Best wishes

Answer: Dark marks in the mons area from shaving
Usually these dark marks are from irritation or folliculitis. If this is an infectious problem then that needs to be treated. Then consider some other method of hair removal such as the use of a hair removal laser.
