I am wondering what my best options are to get this corrected. I am extremely self conscious about it and want to look more my age. I have had this since birth and it has only gotten worse. My father also has the saggy eyelid skin.
Answer: So easy Upper eyelid surgery is easy to have done and affordable compared to many of the procedures we do. It appears you would be a great candidate. I had my upper eyelids done when I was 29 years old for the same reason and have always been glad I did.. Get an appointment today!

Answer: Saggy eyelid skin It looks like you would be a great candidate for an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. The excess skin in the upper lids would be removed allowing more of your upper eyelid to be visible. The surgery can easily be performed in an office setting using local anesthetic. The sutures are usually removed in 3-5 days and the recovery is overall pretty easy. Most patients are using a little makeup to cover some discolorations, but are otherwise back doing day to day activities once the sutures are removed. The results are very natural and the scar becomes very difficult to even see once it heals completely. The results typically last for decades.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Rejuvenation SpecialistQuintessa Aesthetic Centers

Answer: Bleph A small excision of skin of the upper eyelid would correct this. It can be done under local anesthesia in the office and the scar can be well hidden in your eyelid crease.

Answer: Upper lid skin removal-usually a home run!! When done by an experienced surgeon, upper lid surgery can be a home run! Removal of upper lid skin and a very little fat will rejuvenate the upper lids and give the look you desire. Upper blepharoplasty surgery can be done under local anesthesia--you do not have to be put to sleep under anesthesia. This surgery can be done by a facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon. I recommend consulting with a few surgeons and have a look at their before and after photos to help you decide.

Answer: Upper Eyelid Surgery Eyelid surgery has become one of my most popular procedures. If excess upper eyelid skin is hooding the eye and needs to be eliminated, an incision is made in the crease at the top of the lid and excess fat and skin are removed. The incisions are closed and sutured on the underside of the skin, which are removed in four to six days. The incisions are along your eyelash line, making it a virtually scarless procedure.
