I had gynecomastia surgery about three years ago. I paid quite a bit and the results, though an improvement, weren't as great as I was hoping for. One big thing was how they weren't symmetric. I followed up with the doctor and she suggested for another $1000 she could go back into the right side.. make a small incision below the nipple.. and remove skin from there. I don't really care about scarring. Ideally I would like them as flat as possible and symmetric as possible. .

Answer: What additional surgery would be needed to achieve a more symmetric, flat chest?
It sounds like you may have a hematoma, which is collection of blood in the surgical area. Oftentimes hematomas will become more liquefied and be amenable to aspiration (remove with a needle). For patients who have a hematoma, I sometimes recommend warm compresses to speed this process...
Minor imperfections may be present following Gynecomastia surgery.
Visible deformities can sometimes be due to inadequate gland excision on one side or the other or accumulation of fat after surgery.
You can opt for liposuction again but sometimes gland removal and or fat...
Thank you for your question.
It is very common to feels lumps in the area of liposuction after 6 weeks. They do tend to disappear with time but can take up to twelve month. Try to massage them and if worried see your plastic surgeon for reassurance.
