Upgrade from Vanquish to Vanquish ME.

Vanquish uses selective radiofrequency to target fat resulting in reduction in fat in the treatment area. The Vanquish ME( Maximum Energy) protocol is an updated protocol that is more effective. There is an update to the device making the energy delivery more effective. The protocol also changes the treatment time from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. So there is a change in the device itself and how the treatment is performed. It remains comfortable procedure with no downtime. 

Hi,Good question!  I had originally bought two Vanquish machines and when the Vanquish ME was presented to me, I switched them out to the ME.  What ME stands for is Maximum Energy which was both a machine hardware and software change to deliver more energy to reduce more fat.Warmly,Dr. Liu

It delivers more energy, ME - Maximum Energy and so destroys more fat. Whether this can be achieved via a software upgrade I do not know.

There is actually a new machine for the Vanquish ME vs the Vanquish. It has more fat destruction than the normal Vanquish. 

Thank you for your very important question.  The Vanquish ME is a completely different machine as the radiofrequency technology has been significantly upgraded (think iPhone 5 vs iPhone 7).  There is approximately 53% more fat destruction with the Vanquish ME vs Vanquish.  The internal components of the machine have all been updated although the external machine looks the same.  It is not a simple "software upgrade". 

Please find a reputable clinic that specializes in body contouring as you will get the best results with combination therapy.
