Ugly Ankle fat pads. Does anyone have a solution? (Photo)

I started getting ugly ankle fat pads a couple of years ago, no related trauma; they seem to be getting bigger, fortunately I don't have pain but my legs do feel somewhat "tired" along the lateral aspect of my shins. I've seen a few doctors but NO ONE seems to know what to do. They are very unsightly and the deformity makes me very self conscious to the point that I have stopped wearing clothes that show my ankles. Does anyone have a solution?

The short answer is no, muscle tone will not change this irregularity that was from overly aggressive liposuction in the wrong area.  Fat grafting with subcision can help improve the contour.  Best, Dr. Emer.
