Answer: Two surgeries at once? Generally speaking, combination surgical procedures are done routinely. However, you are wise in being concerned about the safety of combination surgery; risks/possible complications do increase with increased length of surgery… It is best to evaluate each patient's suitability for combination surgery on an individualized basis. During this consultation process, after a complete history and physical, the SAFETY of combining these surgical procedures becomes of paramount importance. Plastic surgeon, anesthesia provider, duration of surgery, surgery facility all important considerations. Your best bet: choose your plastic surgeon very carefully; everything else including good judgment/advice/planning, anesthesia provider and safe surgery facility will follow. Best wishes.

Answer: Multiple procedures, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.For safety reasons, to be a good candidate for those procedures at the same time, your labs and cardiovascular preoperative evaluation must be optimal. Therefore, you must be a healthy person, within an appropriate BMI and no history of diseases that increase the surgical / anesthetic risk degree. Finally, I recommend you a skilled certified plastic surgeon in body contouring surgery and experienced in cases like yours where the planned operating time is less than five hours.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Combined surgeries Hello,It is possible to combine surgeries. Often breast lift or augment is combined with Tummy Tuck. The other surgeries you've mentioned will each come with their own post op downtime and discomfort. It is less than ideal to combine certain procedures because of limited movement and impaired healing as well as the combined length or procedures making the time under anaesthetic too long.I recommend that you speak with your Plastic Surgeon about your overall goals as well as your priority surgical goals and allow them to advise you about what would be reasonable, safe combinations for you. Be sure to book your consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. All the best

Answer: Two surgeries at once? Is it possible? Thank you for your question. It is possible to have a vaginoplasty and butt lift at the same time. A BBL and breast reduction surgery should be done at different times. With a BBL you are required to sleep on your stomach during recovery which will not be recommended for recovering from a breast reduction. All the best,

Answer: Two surgeries at once? It is not uncommon and often desirable from a patient's perspective to combine procedures. It decreases downtime, recovery, time away from work, and often the surgical cost. An example is a mommy makeover where a breast lift/augmentation is performed at the same time as an abdominoplasty. Another common combination is eyelid surgery concomitant with a facelift. When combining procedures it is important to take into consideration the risks, the operative time and the recovery. These issues should be discussed with your board-certified plastic surgeon to determine if it is reasonable for you.
