I have been a patient of Dr. Stagnone's for 20 years and cannot say enough great things about him and ALL of his staff! I have referred many friends and family members to him over the years and not one person has ever been disappointed. He is an amazingly honest man. If he feels that your ideal results would be unattainable, or if he feels that you in any way would be unhappy with the results that he can give you, he will tell you. Over the years, I have consulted with various other surgeons in the DFW area and every single other doctor that I met just felt like they only wanted the money, that they really never cared about what I would look like or if I would be happy with the results. Dr. Stagnone has also ever been the ONLY surgeon to every take "measurements" of my breasts during a consultation for implants. He not only relies on decades of expertise, but also on the definite dimensions of your own body to give you the PERFECT sized implant for your body. After having my daughter, I consulted with Stagnone for new implants and he told me that I should be sure I wanted no more children before having my implants replaced or that I would be just wasting my money, as he knew I would eventually want them replaced after more children. I also asked him about a tummy tuck and he told me that I would end up with a scar higher on my stomach than he knew I would like. He is honest beyond what any other surgeon I have ever met has been and I have GREATLY appreciated that! His staff is always kind and it speaks volumes about his practice that the turnover rate amongst his staff is little to none. Dr. Stagnone has his own surgery center and recovery room on-site which is fully accredited. I love the privacy of his facility. There is a porte cochere and private entrance just for surgery patients. It also makes me feel good that I have had the same MD anesthesiologists for every surgery. Also, Kristin, his nurse has been by my bedside for almost EVERY surgery that I've had over the last two decades and it's such a COMFORT to wake up from anesthesia to the same face and sweet voice. I live in the area, but I recently had someone come in from out of town to have surgery by him and we utilized the corporate rate that he gives his patients to stay the night at the Cooper Clinic, just behind his office. Cooper Clinic was BEYOND accommodating and discrete when we stayed there. We were given a room on the first floor, close to the ice machines and next to a side door so that we may come and go without feeling like we were on display to the world as "medical patients." Kasia does all of my injectables in the med spa and all of my girlfriends' botox and fillers. I get SO MANY compliments on my lips! Jennie, his patient coordinator always makes you feel like family. It's nice to be able to call her at any time prior to surgery to discuss concerns or to answer questions. She never makes you feel like she's too busy for you or that you are just another patient. Almost all of his staff have been prior patients of his, in fact, my first surgery, I was so nervous about what the results would look like that his nurses offered to show me the work he had done on her so I could feel better about the procedure. Unlike other doctors that I have consulted with, I have never felt rushed or pushed by anyone in his office or himself to commit to any procedure. He has never suggested ANY operation that wouldn't be needed or that wouldn't contribute to my happiness with the final results. His work has changed my life so much and ALL of it has been for the better. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what he has done for me over the years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to ANYONE!
In exactly 4 weeks I’ll be having my BA & I’m super excited and nervous... I’d love to hear experiences and see someone with these exact ones I am getting. Also, wondering how I’ll actually look since I am on the thick side cz I only see petite women pics. 2 weeks from today is my Pre-Op! I only will be taking a week off from work and hope that’s enough. Updated on 4 May 2018: I’m getting more excited! A little more than a week away from my preop visit.. I’ve been looking & looking for someone with 750cc mentor gummy ultra high profiles to see what they look like, but have yet to see posted anywhere. These pics are from when I tried on the sizers at consultation. I’ve probably been over research too so I can hear different things about experiences. Updated on 8 May 2018: I’m so excited! Dr recommend 750cc Mentor Ultra High Profile for me.. I’m thinking of asking if we could actually go 800cc.. he said 750 would fit me so will see! Updated on 15 May 2018: Talk about a mix of emotions! I’m super excited & scared which I know is normal.. Signed all paperwork & paid everything. Got my prescriptions to go get filled. Why am I so afraid about how they’ll actually look?? I’ve some really good, and some bad.. We did my before pics. The 750cc UHP are still a go. My boobs hurt just thinking about it lol I know I’m probably reading too much .. 2 more weeks!!!! Updated on 18 May 2018: Is there a such thing as looking at too many??? It’s making me confused between wanting to stick with the UHP, or going with HP.... I have boob greed before even having my BA!! I want to make sure I’m big & happy with my results! I’ve wanted this for so many years.. I’m sure lots of y’all out there fantasized like I did on how you’d want them to look if you ever could.. lol now that it’s finally happening, I just want to make sure they are big & sexy.. I have been dieting like crazy & loosing weight just preparing for this moment.. Updated on 19 May 2018: I’m trying to get as prepared as possible lol I got me a couple of zip up sport bras at Walmart. I got the 3X, I’m a lil on the chubby side and wanted to make sure they’d fit after my BA. Thought I’d post how they look before.. Also picked up my prescriptions to have them ready.. I was also told to buy Hibiclens antiseptic skin cleanser to use the night before surgery & the morning of?? Saw lots of women advise to get Scar Away so bought it to have it handy.. Boy, I sure could use some drinks tonight lol But gotta wait till some time after surgery.. At least I have most of the things on my checklist ready so I am prepared (I think lol) Updated on 22 May 2018: So this time next week I’ll have my new boobs!! And I’m so nervous that I’m kinda even numb, like it doesn’t feel real. I can’t wait to hurry up & get this over with.. I’ve bugged my PS office enough lol so time to just wait for the day.. My PS & staff are awesome I might add.. they have been great though this all. I spoke with several different PS and their office staff, none were as great and on top of [RS bleep] like this office. After speaking with all, I decided to go have a consultation with this one and right away I made my decision that Dr. Sagnone would be the one to do my BA... I felt very comfortable & trusted him. The office manager, Jennie is the best! She has such a calming nature that when I left my consultation I felt great.. when I left my PreOp I felt so at ease. My chest diameter is 13.3, see, I’m a pretty thick woman.. I am 5-4, sometimes 5-5, depending on who is measuring me lol I wear a size 16/18, XL.. Just to give an idea of my size.. I am very curvy as in thick hips & big booty.. just need the top part to match.. Updated on 26 May 2018: Yesterday I received my confirmation call & omg..... it is almost time! My scheduled arrival time is 10am and surgery is scheduled for 11am Tuesday... She told me I can take 2 Valium the night before to help me relax & sleep and to take 1 Valium and 1 muscle relaxer about 9:30am Tuesday. (Day after Memorial Day) No food after midnight and only enough water to take my meds... She also said to shower the night before and morning of with Hibiclens from the neck down. I was told to make sure to bring socks, slip on shoes, comfy pants that easily slide on like yoga pants or something and a top that zips, which I said I’ll just be wearing a light, soft zipped jacket and she said perfect. She said to make sure to bring meds with me since I have kinda a long ride home and might need for the ride.. I live about 30-45 mins away depending on traffic. I’ll have my 1st PostOp appointment the next day which my bandages will be taken off and given a surgical bra. She said I can purchase additional if I like but that Walmart has them cheaper and more comfy, but I’ve bought a couple already from there lol Also ordered a few different sizes from Victoria Secret, I can take back if they don’t fit but were a good deal so didn’t hurt to try.. My next post should be surgery day! Also the office manager emailed me to check on me yesterday while she’s visiting Germany, pretty sweet. :) Updated on 28 May 2018: Well I just took 2 Valium as instructed, so now time to relax and prepare for tomorrow morning! When I wake up I will be heading to the surgery center.. I’m nervous but have really been focusing more on how excited I am. I’ll be posting updates soon as I can! Posted a before pic :) Updated on 29 May 2018: I am very oddly calm.. I think I was more nervous coming to my consultation.. My scheduled arrival time is 10am & surgery at 11. I was told to take 1 valium & 1 muscle relaxer at 9:30am.... We arrived early since we live about 40 mins away and Dallas traffic is crazy. I’m wearing some yoga type capris, soft zip up jacket, front zip up sports bra, & flip flops. Hair up in pony tail. I brought some big fuzzy socks and slip on house shoes to wear home. I also brought a neck pillow, blanket, & lil trash can for the ride home lol just in case... also brought some crackers plus some water & sprite or ride home just in case. Say some prayers & I’ll be updating later if all goes well.. Updated on 29 May 2018: I had my surgery today! We got home about 2:30 and I’ve been in and out of sleep. All I remember is dr coming in and marking me up then the nurse told me, ok it’s time.. walked back & got IV put in and i was out.. I don’t remember recovery room at all. I don’t remember walking to the car. I don’t remember the drive home.. hubby has been taking care of me & keeping up with meds. I don’t hurt as bad as I expected, although I do feel so sore like I’ve been doing push ups/chin ups, etc. My chest feels swollen and some heaviness. Which makes me nervous about my pain tomorrow or next few days lol I usually have a high tolerance for pain but I guess I will find out.. I feel like I already want to massage them.. and I can say this, times like this I’m thankful we have an adjustable bed!!! I keep adjusting (poor hubby lol). I’ve kept my neck pillow on since I had surgery, it feels good to have.. everyone is right, neck pillow is a must have. I’ll update some more later, I’m getting drowsy again. This is a lil rough cz I’m a side sleeper but so far have been ok and sleeping. Sent from my iPhone Updated on 30 May 2018: This morning was my first post op appointment. My bandages were removed (what a relief!) They look huge in person, so swollen. They are sitting up pretty high and was told to massage top of breast 3x a day to help them drop. My sternum is swollen also. I was also told to keep ice packs on to help with swelling. They said my surgery went very smooth no complications or too much bleeding. The nurse said to use muscle relaxers only as needed cz some get muscle spasms later so pretty much just keeping my pain meds & antibiotics on schedule. My nausea med only take as needed and probably have used it couple times but nothing real bad. So far my pain has been very mild. I’ve been lucky so far. On a scale on 1-10, I’d say the highest pain level has been 4. But it’s only my first day, hope I don’t jinx myself lol The nurse told me to take pics daily so I can keep track if progress.. My dr’s surgery routine and staff are awesome and I feel lucky it seems my recovery is going pretty smooth so far.. Updated on 31 May 2018: So far so good! All I’ve felt is swollen. I haven’t had real heaviness on my chest or back pain either.. my arms feel sore along the side of my boobs and I do feel a little tingly sensation down my right arm. My right underarm is sore. When laying down and moving my right arm up & own I could hear & feel the implant move, hope that’s normal? I’m still keeping up with my pain meds and might be another reason my pain is minimal. Also have been in & out of sleep, it makes me pretty sleepy.. letting my body rest as much as possible so it can heal. I was told not to be reaching my arms over my head. Hope my boobies are looking how they are supposed to at this stage. Updated on 1 Jun 2018: Muscle spasms have started... So I’m keeping up with my muscle relaxers & pain meds at this point. This morning I took the last of my antibiotics. I’ve been doing my little exercise I was told to do with pushing my hand down on top of breast.. it’s supposed to help it start going down, plus I’ve still been icing the top of my breast to help with the swelling. I’m also starting to feel where my stitches are, starting to get a lil itchy.. my nipples are still kinda numb, starting to get feeling in the left one some. If you’ve breastfed and had to use a bandage to dry up the milk, that’s how I’m feeling right now. As far as looks, I feel like there isn’t really any changes.. I’ve posted some pics I took this morning to compare.. Also some pics of my stitches. Updated on 2 Jun 2018: I might be wrong but I feel like they’ve dropped some? Swelling is down some. I know everyone is different but I am really hoping they fluff out alot more. They don’t look very big in pics? I tried on a knock out sports bra DD from VS, but didn’t fit, the DDD did but has kind of an underwire & don’t think allowed to wear those yet? I’m wearing a 3x Danskin sports bra (I think that’s the brand) from Walmart. It fits snug but comfy enough. Right now I’m just kinda hoping my boobs turn out as big as I wanted them. I can feel side boob but I’m also wanting that projection that UHP gives.. I’m having less pain and soreness, still just kinda feels like full of milk lol Nipples are still feeling a lil numb. I’m still kinda nervous how the end results will look... anyone else have that fear during this stage?? Updated on 4 Jun 2018: Yesterday I went to the grocery store and was exhausted.. I went all day without any pain meds or muscle relaxer. I go back to work tomorrow so trying to get myself used to it.. I’ve had some vibration in my boobs which I guess are muscle spasms. I have a little spot that’s a dark red which I’m not sure if it’s nothing or maybe hematoma? The girls are pretty heavy now and still have dropping to do. I don’t really see much change yet. Still doing my massages. Gained a few pounds so can’t wait to be able to get some exercise in. Hoping my boobs look how they are supposed to at this stage.. I’ve read about boob moods so I guess that’s what I’m experiencing lol Updated on 5 Jun 2018: Today was really weird.. Had my surgery exactly a week ago and decided to go ahead & go back to work.. I work about an hour away but have a desk job so figured couldn’t be that bad. It was my first time driving since my BA. It wasn’t painful, just weird and like driving with T-rex arms lol I haven’t taken meds for awhile and was having muscle spasms throughout the day and some soreness but made it though. Decided to take some more pics to track my progress.. They look really big in person but in pics I take in the mirror they look smaller.. Tried on one of my tankinis, looks much different with boobs to fill it out lol My boobs are still high and feels tight in there. I can’t wait to wear regular bras again. Updated on 12 Jun 2018: Today was my 2 week post op appt.. They removed my stitches and said I was healing great. Advised me to use those Scar Away strips so I have those on now. Now I’ll be doing a new massage at this point. The first massages I was doing was pushing down, to help them drop some, now I’m doing opposite and squishing them upward working on getting them softer. I also need to buy Vitamin E pills, the 1000, and take twice a day. Scheduled to come back for my next appointment at 6 weeks. My left has dropped more then the right and a lil softer so gotta work on getting the right side there too. Speaking of right side..... One morning I was flat ironing my hair while getting ready for work & freakin burned my boob!! I’m not used to them sticking out that much lol They told me to use those scar away strips on that too.. I’m also getting sensations all over my boobs & nipples - the nerves are all coming back to life.. Still no underwire bras allowed! So over sports bras right now! Hard to find clothes that don’t show it. Still no exercising and I can go stroll, but not walking fast or anything that gets my heart rate up. Updated on 26 Jun 2018: I wanted to update on my experience at 4 weeks... they are dropping and alot softer than they were. I’m still getting random lil pains here & there. So far I have no regrets about getting my BA, especially when I look at my before pics. I still feel like they don’t look big, especially for being 750cc UHP.. I know they aren’t little either, I guess just waiting for them to start fluffing out.. feels like it’ll never happen! My right side is dropping slower but it is softening up. I bought a few cheap bras at Walmart that have no wire so I can wear regular shirts lol cz it’s hard to hide a sports bra unless wearing Tshirts all the time. I ordered a few Victoria Secret Knockout Sports Bras. I ordered some DD & DDD... the DD are too small and the DDD are almost too small. I didn’t realize they have underwire so can’t wear them yet. So not sure what the heck size I’ll be wearing. I still have alot of numb areas on my breast and nipples. In 2 weeks I go back to my PS for my 6 week update. Updated on 4 Jul 2018: I’m hoping to get some opinions on this.... I’ve been looking at reviews of others at the stage I am in now and am wondering..... should I be more rounded by now?? I did get the 750cc UHP and figure I’d be a lil bigger.. and just wonder if I will get more “fluffed” & rounded.. my breasts are soft enough to squeeze now and starting to feel more natural. Updated on 20 Jul 2018: I’ve gone to my 6 week appointment a week ago, which is also my final unless I need to go for any concerns. Still haven’t completely dropped (settled) and the right is a little higher, maybe because I’m right handed and use that muscle more? I’ve been takin off of all restrictions. I went to Victoria Secret and got measured at 40 DDD. They don’t sell that size in store so ordered online there. Everyone says not to order too many because lots of changes happen so just ordered a couple more. I am coming up on my 2 months soon and feel like my boobs will never change lol and last night dreamt about capsular contracture (hopefully just cz it’s a fear). I’m still taking my vitamin D as advised for 6 months. Updated on 24 Sep 2018: I’m still very pleased and have fluffed a little more. It’s crazy cz they still aren’t fully dropped so I’m assuming I will probably fluff some more, which I don’t mind... I am currently wearing 38 DDD.. and it is a very snug DDD. I posted some pics of some bras I was trying on at Victoria’s Secret. Feels good not needing to buy push up bras. Sometimes I still feel like I’m not as big as I want to be, even though my hubby says I’m plenty big enough lol I know I still have to remind myself not to compare my journey to anyone else’s cz we are all different. I’m also still somewhat early in post up at a little more than 4 months. I can’t wait to see my results at 6 months and then a year. I am a bigger girl so I know that also probably has something to do with not feeling I’m as big. I’m currently in a size 16. Hopefully that’ll change soon, I’m on my weight loss journey as well. My left one still can feel when my implant moves and feels weird, I read that’s normal but has anyone else felt this also? Updated on 4 Dec 2018: Just doing an update on my progress. It’s weird cz I feel bigger, but sometimes feel like I don’t look bigger. I ordered a couple new bras from Frederick’s of Hollywood a size 40F, hated it. Feels too snug and hate the wide bands! I don’t like feeling caged in. Although I did get this lingerie from there & love that. :) I’ve still been debating on getting the lift, but think I’m going to wait till I’ve lost more weight to decide. Getting the implants did lift them up some. I kinda wonder if I should’ve gotten high profile rather than the UHP. I wanted more round look and I’m not sure if it’s just the style of implants or my own body that project out more. They’re still somewhat round, just wanted a certain look... it’s all good, I’m happy either way. Updated on 4 Dec 2018: Looks like the pics didn’t post with post, so here they are...... if the pics did post, sorry for duplicating lol
Best plastic surgeon! Very personable and takes the time to explain your procedure in terms you will understand. Office staff if very nice. The Patient Care Coordinator, Jennie L., was very helpful and explained the cost of surgery to me and let me try on sizes several times before I could make up my mind. Just an all around great staff, and can’t wait to have my surgery!
I hand my BA two days ago and it was fabulous! Doctor Stagnone was the best all the way around. I saw 4 doctors before him and the day I went to see him I know instantly I wanted him to do my surgery. The staff is amazing! I had so many questions and they answer them all with patience. Surgery was easy I barely had to take any pain killers. I was up and around the same day. Dr. Stagnone’s bedside manner was great from start to finish. He sat down beside me and asked me how I want to look. I told him and I look the way I asked for! I am sooooo happy with the results and it’s only day 3 so they will get even better!! If you’re planning to have anything done I highly recommend Dr. Stagnone!!!
So far, I'm in love with my results! I'm 5'7" 125lbs and I got 500cc, high profile, silicone, under the muscle. I am a mother, and breastfed nearly three years between my two kids. Once the milk dried, my boobs were sad little ant bites. I had excess skin because while pregnant they ballooned up to an E. I asked for a very full D/DD and I do believe that is what I will end up with once the swelling subsides. They are perfectly symmetrical, and my nipple placement is perfect. Dr Stagnone was extremely nice, and professional. His staff was great as well. I HIGHLY recommend!
After losing 75 lbs. at 21 years old, I needed a breast lift. I had never had plastic surgery before and was very nervous. I had many consultations with different doctors, but after meeting with Dr. Stagnone I knew I wanted him as my doctor. During the consultation, he explained the procedure thoroughly and answered any of my questions. He is very detail oriented and it shows off in his work. He has a wonderful team of staff working with him that was so incredibly helpful to me! He did a beautiful job and I highly recommend him!
I have had large pendulous breasts since high school and I wanted a reduction and lift for half of my life. After discussing breast reduction with my OB/GYN, she recommended that I see Dr. Stagnone for a consultation. Feeling fully confident, we scheduled breast reduction/lift surgery to be done on November 30, 2011. I found out that I was pregnant November 5, 2011. ???? Needless to say, the surgery had to be put on the back burner. Now that my little game changer is four years old, now is the time to move forward with the procedure. Updated on 30 Nov 2016: Went in for 1 wk check. Removed sutures around areola and steri-strips. The steri-strips were causing blisters to form, especially around the T incision on bottom of left breast. It felt so good to get those itchy strips off. Nurse called in topical and oral antibiotics, just to be on the safe side. Still swollen, right more than left. Still feeling very tight, especially the long incision on bottom. Overall, extremely satisfied. This discomfort is worth the end result. Updated on 30 Nov 2016: I drove my family to the grocery on Sunday, (Nov 27th, day 6), just to get a feel for it. My husband headed out of town early Monday morning so, Monday I dropped the kiddo at preK and headed to my check up. I did ok, but had some discomfort on turns. Today (Wednesday), I'm feeling much better! The drive to preK was much easier and I'm feeling more comfortable and confident! Not ready for any major road trips, but maybe a Christmas shopping day is in the forecast?? Updated on 30 Nov 2016: A pic of my ugly, but incredibly soft, pillow. And my velour track suit, highly recommended for post surgery. Updated on 1 Dec 2016: So I was excited to think that some of the swelling was going down and today "POOF" back to swollen again. I'm learning that because I'm right handed, the right side seems to swell more; which is probably my body's way of saying, "hey girl, I know you are feeling better, but that doesn't change the fact that you had surgery 11 days ago... slow down". And I guess that's ok. And let's talk about bruising... I took photos in natural light coming through bathroom window for the first time today, and there are colors on my chest that I don't think exist in crayolas spectrum. Still washing with hibiclens every day, still using Bactroban ointment. Still tired of this straight jacket bra that I wear 24/7. ???? I know it's for the betterment of my recovery, so I will reluctantly continue to "lock and load" every day, and night, and afternoon, etc., but I can't promise that I won't curse. I did move myself almost to tears when I tried on a shirt that has the band that goes under the boobs. When I used to try to wear it, it cut across the bottom third of my my chest and was terribly tight. Fit like a charm today!! I was like, "oh I could get used to this!!" Updated on 2 Dec 2016: I have spoken the words, "what is a Bralette, a training bra for grown women?" I know... Hateful right? It was just my frustration at my boobs for forcing me to wear steel boned, reinforced, huge bras; that literally could double as a hat... But, I'm not a hater anymore! Can I just say it?? I LOVE MY BOOBS!!!!!! ???? Updated on 5 Dec 2016: Incisions looking good. Right breast really swollen so I got fussed at for overdoing it this past weekend. I still need to take it easy and wear the ugly bras, but that's cool. Anything to help my healing process!! Almost forgot, I got my silicone strips today, too. Fun!!! Updated on 5 Dec 2016: I also remembered to ask how much he removed from my breasts... 620 g from R, 264 g from L; so, 1 and a half pounds from R, and 1/2 pound from left! Updated on 5 Dec 2016: Got these from PS office. So far they seem ok, but it's the first day to use them. Updated on 6 Dec 2016: Yay for an assortment of different sized ice packs. I'm like, freezing; but hoping to keep my swelling in check. Updated on 12 Dec 2016: I'm still hanging in there. Three weeks postop and I guess I'm doing OK; I just wish the swelling would go down and these hard spots around the incisions would settle down and soften some. My nipples and areola's are still extremely sensitive, and I still ,just every now and again, have really sharp shooting pain's in my breasts. I feel like I look OK on the outside as far as my incisions, I feel like they're healing really well; but I guess I'm more concerned about what may be going on in the inside. Like, why all the swelling and pains and tightening? I'm taking it easy, definitely trying to not lift anything more than 5 pounds. I do have a four-year-old that I get up every morning for pre-K and I do make her lunch and pack her backpack, but it's not very heavy. Updated on 19 Dec 2016: Today makes four weeks. My breast have softened quite a bit, most of the bruising is gone, my incisions look great (I think), but I'm still not symmetrical. I know that this is not my final result, because that doesn't happen until, what I've heard is; 3 months, 6 months, even a year... However, if they stay like this, I'm still happy. They are WAAAYYYY much better than before. Anyway, I'm still trucking along. Using my scar strips pretty regularly and wearing my big, tight, ugly bras. Hope all of you are doing great, and Happy Holidays to you all!!! Updated on 25 Jan 2017: It's been a while since I've done an update. We had a very busy holiday season, but things have settled down a bit. I was released from docs care on Jan 9th to resume normal activities but to listen to my body. I'm not sleeping on my stomach as before but side sleeping feels great. Probably won't ever sleep on stomach again now that I'm used to sleeping other ways, as it's terrible for my back anyway. Able to go to chiropractor and get adjustments so that's great. Also, not having to go as often because of the weight that has been removed. I have been walking and doing light workouts at home, but I've got to get back in the gym. Incisions look great, and are just very fine lines around areola and vertical. The anchor incision is still a bit thick and slightly "ropey", but with continued use of silicon strips seems to be softening. Every now and again I still get pains and tightening, more so on my right side. Also when wearing underwire, which I rarely do, I get reddish/purplish (almost looks like bruising) so I'm still in my post sx bras mostly. I also find it more comfortable to sleep in a very thin bra, as opposed to none. I think I got used to it so now it feels weird without one. I know that it can take up to a year to have the final result
My doctor is a perfectionist by far, he is the best. Went with the moderate profile plus silcone, this was PERFECT, i love them, after several times of going back and fourth with the high profile implant and the moderate plus at my age i did not want them to look fake and this was the best decision i made with my doctors help as well. This is my second breast augmentation, i had my first one 22 years ago had them taken out two years ago and a lift done. I did not have problems with them just felt like i needed to let them rest and then redo them later so two years i then had them put under the muscle which before they were infront of the muscle, i love them, two weeks post opt and im in a sports bra and out of that surgical bra they give you to wear 24/7". If you are wanting a natural look but semi high look you wont go wrong with the Mentor moderate profile plus " silcone.....
I always wanted larger breasts with more volume. My small boobies were sad and saggy after losing 35 lbs and I decided to take the plunge and get a BA. Dr. Stagnone in Dallas was recommended to me and I decided to scheduled my consultation. Dr. Stagnone and his staff made me feel at home and treated me like family. They were so accommodating and thorough. Dr. Stagnone reassured me and addressed every single one of my concerns. He even noted the exact words I used to describe my ideal results. I knew right away he was the perfect surgeon for me and my needs. I am 5'6' and 130 lbs. My breasts were a saggy A cup or a small B cup (my before photos are attached below). My doctor and I settled on 425 cc high profile Mentor silicone gel implants. Dr. Stagnone placed the implants under the muscle using an inframammary incision. Updated on 24 Aug 2016: Everything is going great. My boobs look perfect and I haven't event started massaging. They feel very squishy and natural. Sorry for messy bathroom.
Ok, so I'm having these removed this week and super excited! The doctor before did a wonderful job, and they look really good as is now, but I just want to be me again. I got them 16 years ago, no problems, just a little rippling. As a marathon runner, they hamper my running time to say the least, as well as cause me to lean over when I run. I'm not too concerned with the way they will look afterward, just hope the skin retracts back to not cause a lot of sagging. They were a B before I got them and now a 34 DDD. I'm just wanting to be healthier! I'll add updates as this progresses. Cheers! Updated on 17 May 2016: They're so big it's hard to maneuver for taking pics...lol! Updated on 19 May 2016: Ok ladies, so today went pretty well. No pain just a little pinch feeling from the anesthesia syringe. They just strapped me to a table, turned on my favorite tunes, cleaned me up then Dr. Stagnone used a laser to open up not even an inch incision, drained the saline and popped the implants out. Procedure only took about 40 minutes! Longest part was the stitching. Only around 5 minutes to take implants out. Go back in 2 weeks for stitch removal. Take bandages off this Sunday. Will post pick then! Updated on 21 May 2016: Alrighty, it's day 2 and I just took off the bandages and had my first shower! I was pleasantly surprised at the results I have from just 2 days after surgery. I'm very happy I did this!! Can't wait until they fluff up a bit. Pics below and more to come! Thanks for the support btw... Updated on 26 May 2016: This compression is killing me! But hanging on. Updated on 28 May 2016: Compression, water, vitamins and collagen working well I think. Updated on 3 Jun 2016: Ok, got the stitches out yesterday...here are a few pics from today. Sorry for the bad pic quality! Have been using some silicone strips over the scars and am supposed to for at least 6-8 weeks, or until I see the improvement I want. Quit wearing the compression bandage too. The nurse said after 2 weeks there really it doesn't need to be worn anymore. Also doing massage with coconut oil. Updated on 5 Jun 2016: This guy is good. Really good. I had a breast implant removal, with implants put in by a different surgeon 16 years prior, and I must say, without reservation, that Dr. Stagnone does amazingly good work. His stitching is beautiful. He also made me feel very comfortable each time I say him, and on the operating table he told me everything he was doing, and we also talked about cool stuff too, hobbies, etc...I will definitely choose Dr. Stagnone again for anything else I need done! His office staff is very professional and made me feel comfortable, answered any questions I had, and were right one with everything. Thanks Valerie!
You have a nice start for breast augmentation and you do not have a deformity, just volume loss. I'm not sure if its the way the picture was taken or if your left breast just sits a little lower but if it would be something you'd like improved , the apparent asymmetry might benefit from some other considerations. An augmentation done with slightly different sizes to try to more ideally balance the breasts or perhaps just a little vertical repositioning of the left nipple with a crescent mastopexy might be a consideration if the picture is accurate. We use the Vectra imaging computer to help with selecting implants of different sizes or shapes but nothing is as valuable as a consultation with an experienced Board Certified plastic surgeon to get the best result possible. With your anatomy you should expect a nice outcome if your expectations are realistic!
Working together with your transplant team it is possible. You will need a consultation to determine which surgical option will be best for you but in the Dallas area I would expect $7000.00-$10,0000+ depending on the option selected.
You have widespread stretch marks and skin that just looks like it's very lax. Unfortunately that really does make you a poor candidate for liposuction. If you keep looking, I'm afraid you may find someone who will do it and be left with a deformity. Sometimes it's better to do nothing than to do the wrong thing. If you do decide on a tummy tuck, you look like a much better candidate for a full tummy tuck. Keep in mind that only a full tuck will address the upper abdomen and belly button. I think you'd be disappointed in what's left if you consider a mini.
You could get larger implants but that will not raise your nipple position which is a bit low, especially on the side with the stars on your shoulder. If you are ok with that nipple position, larger implants are probably an option. This can easily be confirmed with a consultation. I am not enthusiastic about the periaroelar ("donut") lift since the scars can widen and be very unfavorable over time. However, your nipple could be raised a bit higher with a crescent mastopexy (the most "mini" lift) which usually gives a favorable scar. When you are seen for your consultation you should be able to see pictures of the crescent scar and also look at implants in your range. We have some sizers that can be added on top of your augmentation to get an idea of the size you might be. Our Instagram has an interesting set of 4 pictures of a patient of mine ("before", at age 23, "after" implants, age 23 then 10 years later after 2 kids and finally after getting larger implants). Your 4th pic looks smaller so I'm assuming, unless it's the angle or they are deflated, you too had kids, making this an interesting sequence to look at.
You may be the uncommon candidate for a type of tummy tuck called an umbilical float. I did this procedure recently on a family member, allowing a variety of pictures you can see it on the practice Instagram. In my hands the incision required to get a safe muscle repair up high near the ribs is longer than a C-section scar but shorter than a traditional "full tummy tuck". In your case it would entirely remove your tattoo. A bonus from allowing a little longer incision is the removal of some of that "puddle" of skin most mothers of 2 have when bending forward. There is no scar around the belly button, yours remains as it is, usually about the same shape and size but a little lower. The hernia is repaired and tucked into the diastasis repair. From the photos, it appears that your issue is almost entirely diastasis so there is no benefit to any type of liposuction or non invasive fat procedure in terms of correcting that tummy bulge. A consultation is necessary to determine if this is a good option for you.
