You obviously had very extensive
liposuction for the first time to have that much of a drop in hemoglobin. However,
doing revisional or secondary liposuction is quite feasible, although it should
be more limited in scope, so it is very unlikely that you would see a drop in
hemoglobin. I would talk over your goals with your original surgeon or another
surgeon. Touchups after liposuction are common and generally successful. Best

I am unaware of any limits to the number of times in the area can be retreated with liposuction. I've actually never treated a given area more than twice.

If you have fat and good skin tone, you can have the procedure done multiple times without problems.  You are an amazing candidate for good contouring.  You should go to someone who specializes in full body contouring and shaping as you could get an excellent outcome if you chose to go to someone who specializes in this type of liposuction rather than someone focused on just decreasing fat in an area.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for the pictures and the questions. Repeat liposuction is safe to perform, assuming your skin still maintains its elasticity. Due to scar tissue from the previous procedure, you should not expect to get as much fat out the second time. If you are liposuctioning new areas there are no increased risks. Your hemoglobin question is interesting. Hemoglobin of 7 is not dangerous assuming you are otherwise healthy, but a drop of 6.8 is more than expected. I would be interested to know what technique that surgeon used (wet, superwet, or tumescent). Other things to consider: were you taking aspirin or other blood thinners, do you bruise easily, do you have heavy menstrual bleeding? This is definitely something to explore with your PS before doing another procedure.
