Answer: Patch It does not appear to be from overharvesting or shock loss and it looks red and inflamed. I would definitely see your original surgeon or a dermatologist to evaluate. You may need a steroid to control the irritation.

Answer: Donor Regrowth Hi, How are you? The reason why most patients choose the FUE over the FUT is for versatility. Meaning some patients want the option of wearing their hair shorter or longer without having a linear incision. However, even though the FUE procedure is performed with such an incredibly small punch. It is NOT a scarless procedure. Meaning if you shave your head or wear your hair very short you could tend to see the little tiny pin point scarring. The scarring never fades. This is also why we do not over harvest the donor area. Meaning we always leave that option for you to have a 2nd or a 3rd procedure throughout your life if need be. I would contact your DR and talk to him regarding your concerns.

Answer: Itchy patch after my FUE Sometimes there may be such a early phase weak and low density appearance in donor areas after FUE surgery, but fortunatelly most are transient. İt may happen because of over harvesting or transient post traumatic shedding /shock loss. Any way it heals and hair regrow in 4-5 months of hair restoration surgery . You may use betnovate cream which contains Betamethasone or Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.01% Topical Oil (Scalp Oil) are all good for both itching and pinkish discoloration.

Answer: Donor area That area appears to be pretty low for being used as a donor area. It may just be some shock loss and will regrow over the last few months. I recommend that you contact your doctor and let them examine it and get a treatment for it.
