Moderate Plus or High Profile for broad shoulders and asymmetry? (photos)

For those seeking a more "augmented look" high-profile is usually the best choice. If you have a wide chest diameter (broad shoulders), then a moderate plus is usually better to decrease the cleavage gap. If you want augmented look without a wide gap, a larger high profile will be necessary. Best of luck!

Hi, and thanks for your question.  I think that a high profile implant will give you the shape and volume you are looking for.  When you go for a consultation, you can try on the different sizes to see which one fits your body best.  Then you should be able to obtain an amazing result!  Best of luck!

Trying to decide which style implant to get can be very confusing and difficult. It is best to discuss your goals and desires with your plastic surgeon. Unfortunately, not all plastic surgeons agree. Given your goals, I would recommend a high profile implant. The lower profile implants are wider and flatter than the high profile. If you select a large size, the moderate plus implant may extend outside the width of your breast and make you look wider/heavier. Discuss these concerns with your surgeon, and I am sure you will have a great result.

The fact that you've stated you do not want a natural look and do want upper pole fullness would lead me to suggest that you may be happiest with the look of a full/high profile implant. Ultimately this will mean a bigger implant with more volume than what your moderate implant would be. I recommend that you meet with a board certified Plastic Surgeon in person to talk about your goals and options. They will be able to advise about the specific implant sizes which fit you.All the best

Thanks for your inquiry, my colleagues of explained the challenges of sizing already,  I wanted to focus on your wish breast.  I believe they were starting with more volume, thus you may need to consider a higher profile to reach their result in terms of projection. Since you don't want to look natural, I would suggest a high profile implant. This is going to give you more upper breast volume for a more round and augmented appearance. I would rarely recommend a moderate plus implant for a young woman, unless she wanted to be very conservative. Good luck!

for a breast augmentation.  Generally for broad shoulders, moderate profile plus is recommended over high profile.  The size, profile, and shape of the
implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.  This entire surgery
can be performed with a small incision technique.  Make sure you
specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have
had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Thank you for your question. "Tissue based planning" relies on your chest and breast measurements and is the safest way to ensure good long term results. Your surgeon should determine what size and projection are necessary to give you your desired result based on your body's measurements.
