Hi, after looking through the internet and at pictures, I think I have chin ptosis? My chin sticks out when I smile and I really dislike how it looks. I’m 20 years old and I would like to know my options on fixing this. Thanks in advance!

A sliding genioplasty would improve your facial balance and provide a permanent solution to the recessive nature of your chin. Fillers are another option but they are temporary and will need constant maintenance. You might want to try the fillers first to see if you like the look.
Ideally you would have a sliding genioplasty to bring your chin forward AND up as well as jaw angle implants. This would be combined with jaw angle implants as well as buccal lipectomies with perioral and neck liposuction for an overall lower facial reshaping/profile change.
A simple panorex x-rays allows the surgeon to know the exact location of your mental nerve foramen and how to plan the angle of the bone cut. Because it is a cormmonly done and inexpensive x-ray it is nice to have it before surgery. But is it absolutely essential to have it to do the surgery.......
