3 years ago I had double jaw surgery to fix an underbite. However, I didn't opt for any additional chin reduction at that time and now my lower jaw has moved into its proper place but my chin still sticks out considerably. There's also an extra flap of skin that is very noticeable when I smile. So am I a candidate for a chin reduction? And with the permanent metal in my face, would a plastic surgeon be hindered, or would I have to see another maxillofacial surgeon?
