I first noticed I had a buffalo hump at the age of 9. I am now 24 years old weigh about 100 and am around 4’ 11”. When I touch it, it feels like fat and bone. I recently had work on it but I am not satisfied with my results. I would like to know my options/ professional opinions. Thank you

Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear Hope24235,based on your photos, it looks like a liposuction might help you. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Liposuction Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a candidate for liposuction of your buffalo hump posterior neck area. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G.
