Concerns about chin lipo redo and leftover skin. Will there be pulling and wrinkling from a new incision? (photo)

I am 47 y.o. & 4.5 months ago I had lipo to get rid of my double chin & a necklift to remove loose skin, including stitching platysma muscles. I am left w/loose skin & maybe some fat leftover. My surgeon has discussed removing the excess skin w/zig zag incision an inch below incision I already have under my chin; possibly removing fat also; and/or maybe restitching the platysma muscles. Need opinions before I get an even more obvious incision scar on my neck.Will my chin/neck ever look smooth?

Based on your photos- you have loose skin and muscle- that should be treated with cheek/neck lift. In my opinion- this is the only option that will produce the best result

Good day, thanks for your question and provided information with pictures as well.. You need to consider to do a neck lift, you will have even better results from the procedure. Redoing the neck lift is your best option. Good luck with your procedure!

You seem to have loose skin and loose platysma muscle bands. More liposuction will likely make it worse. The only way to fix the muscle bands is to redo the surgery (or Botox may give a short fix). The Z type incision may help but will leave a scar.
