hello xoxo14344 NATURAL Breast Augmentation can be performed with fat grafting. This requires liposuction to obtain the fat, and then the fat is transferred into the breast tissue. It is usually possible to achieve at least one half cup size increase. Additional fat transfer procedures to increase your volume can be done subsequently. #options #candidate
The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon
I appreciate your question I perform a natural breast augmentation with fat. This can be removed from any unwanted areas including the breast itself as part of my lipo-lift procedure. I perform the fat grafting in multiple planes including under the muscle to give the best, most natural enhancement. Fat grafting is a great solution for someone who wants to bring their breast size up a cup or so and use natural tissue vs an implant. However, it can also be combined with an implant or used as a secondary procedure to fill in areas that are flat or thin. It should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast feeding. It can be a little lump or hard at first but tends to soften over time. If you gain or lose weight, the transferred fat can do the same. About 60-70% of the grafted fat survives. At 6 months you will have a good idea of your results. Some women have a second or third procedure which continues to increase your volume safely. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Fat transfer can augment your current size one to two cup sizes. Based on your photos I believe this is very reasonable.
Breast implants create predictable results, whereas fat grafting to the breasts is not as reliable. I transfer from 250 cc to 400 cc or so per breast. Fat is placed within the breast, not in the muscle. About 50% of the fat obtains permanence. If you are comfortable with about a one cup size increase, fat transfer would be reasonable. If you want 2 or more cups, breast augmentation with implants would be better. I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as before and after photos on that surgeon's website. Then schedule a consultation to discuss all your concerns.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question and there has certainly been an increase in interest in this particular topic. Here are some of the things I discuss with my patients when they come for a consult for breast augmentation:1. there is no industry standard for bra cup size. Different stores - same letter and number bra - different fit2. Fat by itself really doesn't give a breast shape (at least not the shape most commonly desired in my patients). 3. A significant portion of transferred (grafted) fat won't survive the trip. This means that it may be necessary to do more than one operation to achieve your goals. This can become very costly for some patientsSeek out a board certified member of ASPS / ASAPS for your consultation and good luck!
Dear Xoxo14344,Determining the ideal breast size and matching that goal for the patient is the most difficult part of breast augmentation. It starts and ends with the patient. We have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements. Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If its too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match. Of all of my breast augmentation patients, everyone of them have been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Hi xoxo, based on your pictures you are an excellent candidate for breast augmentation and can be a c cup. There is no accurate way to determine how many cc's of fat or silicone or saline equals one cup size because of tissue variability. That is why the same sized implant will look different on different women. Fat is a viable alternative but some of the fat injected will dissolve and that amount is not exactly predictable. This procedure has a high rate of secondary because of the dissolving fat. It is also more costly because it is more time consuming than using an implant. Good luck with what ever procedure you choose. I'm sure you will get an excellent result.
A full consultation would be necessary to determine if you might be able to obtain the size increase that you want with fat AND if you would be an appropriate candidate. There are definite limitations with fat injections per procedure. Implants are predictable and there should be sizes available to allow you to obtain the desire size. You should consult with one or more reputable board certified plastic surgeons and then make your decision.
I think that it would be optimistic to promise you a mid or upper C cup size with one fat augmentation procedure. It may be achievable but be prepared to possibly need a second procedure to reach your goal. Yes, these procedures can be performed at the same time, if the board certified plastic surgeon is an expert at all procedures. Lipo is performed with BBL and the harvested fat can be transferred to the buttocks and breast.Search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most l...
To avoid calcification, the transfer must be done in a gentle fashion and not overly fill the area so that the fat cells can receive blood from the tissue and live.
Hello hollyrose18 Fat is removed from your abdomen, hips, “love handles” or other areas using a fine cannula similar to the one used for liposuction but skinnier. You should visit or contact a board certified PS. #cost #recovey
