No, it's not too late and it won't negatively impact your fat transfer. Ultherapy is a great device, but works best in combination with other treatments like lasers, RF treatments, microneedling/PRP or sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
There's no set age for Ultherapy, rather it is the quality of your skin and degree of laxity which determines whether the treatment would be appropriate or not. You would need an in-person consultation and evaluation in order to make that decision. You are right, in general the treatment works better for those individuals with mild skin laxity. Older individuals with moderate to severe skin laxity would either need multiple sessions or a different treatment. Ultherapy will not affect your fat if done properly. Please see an experienced provider. Hope this helps answer your question.
The most recent studies show that Ultherapy® can ENHANCE the results of fillers/fat/Botox® Cosmetic and even other lasers.
Hi and thank you for your question! Late 60's and even 70's is not too late for Ultherapy. We have done patients into their 80's. However, you will need a detailed consultation with an experience provider to decide if you are a good candidate. Ultherapy does not provide the results of a facelift, but it is the best non-surgical skin lighting/tightening procedure on the market. Many of our patients do Ultherapy in order to do as much as possible to tighten and lift and postpone or maybe prevent a facelift later, if started early enough. We are always sure to remind people that it does not replace the need for surgical intervention in some patients and/or if they are looking for a longer lasting and more dramatic result. We will do ultherapy as early as 2 weeks if you want but could be best to wait 6-8 weeks and then considera kybella with ultherapy to enhance the outcome of the neck lipo. Best, Dr. Emer.
In our practice we have seen fantastic results from Ultherapy treatments. However, the treatment is technician dependent so please ensure you see an Ultherapist that is very experienced in the procedure. Also, it is important to have a consultation to ensure that you are a good candidate. Goo...
Thank you for your question. I would suggest that you speak to the physician that performed your treatment to discuss the outcome. As well, if you have ongoing symptoms, having a detailed physician assessment would be important.
