I hear it works best on faces who need it the least. Also 3 months ago I had fat transferred to my face. Is ultherapy going to disturb any of the positive results I received?
Answer: Ultherapy for the Win--in combination with lasers, Sculptra, microneedling/prp No, it's not too late and it won't negatively impact your fat transfer. Ultherapy is a great device, but works best in combination with other treatments like lasers, RF treatments, microneedling/PRP or sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Too Late For Ultherapy There's no set age for Ultherapy, rather it is the quality of your skin and degree of laxity which determines whether the treatment would be appropriate or not. You would need an in-person consultation and evaluation in order to make that decision. You are right, in general the treatment works better for those individuals with mild skin laxity. Older individuals with moderate to severe skin laxity would either need multiple sessions or a different treatment. Ultherapy will not affect your fat if done properly. Please see an experienced provider. Hope this helps answer your question.

Answer: When to do Ultherapy Hi and thank you for your question! Late 60's and even 70's is not too late for Ultherapy. We have done patients into their 80's. However, you will need a detailed consultation with an experience provider to decide if you are a good candidate. Ultherapy does not provide the results of a facelift, but it is the best non-surgical skin lighting/tightening procedure on the market. Many of our patients do Ultherapy in order to do as much as possible to tighten and lift and postpone or maybe prevent a facelift later, if started early enough. We are always sure to remind people that it does not replace the need for surgical intervention in some patients and/or if they are looking for a longer lasting and more dramatic result. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
