Should I be concerned about the ripple side effects of Ultherapy and hard bumps on the cheeks?

I received ultherapy and also experienced ripple effect on one side and hard bumps on the other. She told me to apply heat, not cold. Will these side effects affect the outcome? I was not told to be still and we conversed and laughed throughout the treatment. It's been 2 days and has gotten a little better. Thanks!

It's not normal to get burns or blisters after Ultherapy. See your doctor as soon as  possible to discuss the outcome and treatment using silicone based scar gels with growth factors for healing at this time.

For neck contouring, a combination of thermi and vaser liposuction for surgical procedure that gives more of an improvement in a single treatment, or considering a non surgical option with a combination of Kybella, botox or thermage.

Ultherapy is not for everyone, but if you are looking to avoid surgery, then it is the next best thing.  I would recommend full lower face and neck treatment if you were to proceed with ultherapy based on your pictures.  It is not a wow for all patients.  But all will state there...

Swelling can last a few weeks after Ultherapy.  Ice packs, Arnika Forte, diuretics, and time are the best options at this point. Exercise isn't contraindicated after Ultherapy, but if you notice strenuous exercise makes swelling worse, perhaps you should reduce your routine for the time being. ...
