Question

I plan on getting chin filler to fix my mental crease however do you think a chin implant would also benefit/balance out my face in addition to the filler for my crease?

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. Your profile view shows relatively good balance in the projection of your chin, lips, and forehead. My impression is that a chin implant may disrupt these features and needs to be considered carefully.

The easiest way to understand whether a chin implant could be beneficial is to use 3D imaging and computer simulation. This technology allows you to examine the appearance of your face from various angles and with different amounts of change in the chin’s projection or projection and width.

A formal evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. A combination of surgical and non-surgical options would correct this.

We can place a chin implant, which is a quick surgical procedure. Additionally, we would also offer non-surgical chin augmentation/balancing with injectable fillers to soften the transitions and fill in that mental crease. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill, and Sculptra are injected into the area to improve the overall appearance of the lower face and balance the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline, and improve the chin crease.
