A redo chin implant question (Photo)

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. The profile projection of your chin appears to be relatively good. It slightly exceeds the projection of the lower lip, and more significant augmentation may not be advantageous.

It is always possible to create the impression that the chin projection is stronger by reducing the volume under the chin. In your case, a deep plane neck lift intervention would reduce the girth in the upper third of the neck and increase the distance between the chin point and the front of the neck. This approach produces the impression of a stronger jawline and chin and avoids exaggerated contours for the chin itself.

Thank you for your pictures. I agree with your Plastic Surgeon . Your chin looks pretty good. I would leave well enough alone. If you want more balance between your chin and nose, I think that you should address this balance via rhinoplasty.

Based on your photos, you appear to have a strong chin appearance, with adequate projection and an unoperated appearance. If I had to guess, you may have had previous nasal surgery, and you have a somewhat over projected nasal tip appearance with nostril asymmetry. If you're not interested in nasal surgery for a less projected nasal tip appearance, I agree with the position of your plastic surgeon. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
