What is the best age for rhinoplasty?

Thank you for your question.Actually you can have a rhinoplasty surgery until 65 (if your health and skin condition is suitable).Anyway, with time the skin looses its elasticity and the recovery/healing time gets longer. There is no ''best age'' to get the surgery done, but I would recommend you to get it now if you are thinking about it. Rhinoplasty surgery is not really painful (you can ask around you if anyone had nose job). Anyway it is more about discomfort during the first days post-op because you have swelling and you will have tampons inside your nose so you will be breathing from your mouth mostly. Anyway after your cast removal you will be better.

Hi there! That's a great question. It really depends on the desires of the patient and technique used. Some prefer to have a rhinoplasty at a younger age to solidify a new appearance as one ages. If the technique for building the nose is solid, the structure and form can last a lifetime in theory. If the rhinoplasty technique is not appropriate, you may be setup for revision procedures in the future. I would meet with several facial plastic surgeons to determine your goals and what is realistic in your case. This will allow you to make the best decision. As long as you're an excellent health, you can perform rhinoplasty at any age.
