I am thinking of getting lip augmentation. Would it help give me a better shape to my top lip? I feel like my upper lip droops from the sides/corners, will lip augmentation help even that out? Also, the middle part of my upper lip seems to hang lower than the rest of my upper lip, can that be reshaped/fixed?

Answer: Filler- Lip Augmentation My goal with every lip augmentation is to address all the parts of the lip that contribute to creating ideal lips instead of just focusing on one part of the lip. Ideal lips have two halves that are identical twin images of each other. Even though most beautiful human faces may not be completely symmetrical, we still find most beautiful lips to be those that are identical twin halves.Top lip has two side pillows starting at the lip corner and ending at the cupid’s bow. Top lip also has a middle pillow that forms the Cupid’s bow. Each of these pillows projects out maximally in its center part.Bottom lip has two pillows with maximal projection at the center of each pillow.Ideally the bottom lip is equal to the top lip or larger than the top lip by a ratio of 1.6181 to 1.The highest point of the cupid’s bow connects to the base of the nose via two columns called the philtral columns. These two columns are not parallel but tilt slightly toward each other. I suggest that you have a consultation with a physician is an expert in lip augmentation to discuss how your particular lips could be transformed to more beautiful lips. Best of luck, Dr. Monica Bonakdar

Answer: Fillers for lip shaping and augmentation Soft tissue fillers can be used to restore volume lost over time - especially at the outer corners and in the cupids bow. careful placement can restore (or create) a more prominent cupids bow and help to turn up the corners of your mouth. this can be done in a subtle way to enhance your look. always seek out an injector who has experience with this area, and who you feel comfortable with good luck
