4 months post FUE, can I dye my hair or will it damage grafts?

4 months post fue I want to dye my hair but my post op care notes say no hair dye for 6 months. And no clippers on reciperant area for 5 months. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

THe donor region was thin to begin with having a previous FUT procedure. After another procedure that has been some shock loss and it will take time for hair to regrow. Using medication, topical creams and PRP can help with hair thickness and density.

Sun exposure is not recommended after surgery but if it already happened there isn't much you can do.  Ultraviolet light from the sun can permanently discolor your skin if the wound has not healed.

It may be too early to judge what your final results may look like.  2500+ FUE can certainly cause donor depletion if you had a low donor hair density to begin with.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative issues (even if your doctor is in Instanbul).The photos look like you have patchy hair loss or over harvesting.  You won't be able to determine how well it may look or how well your donor area will heal for another 6 to 12 months.
