Is there a way to determine if the implants are slowly disintegrating?

I had augmentation mammoplasty in January 1986 implanted with Dow Corning polyurethane coated (fuzzy) silicon gel implants. My breasts seem to be smaller than they were in the past. I only weighed about 100 lbs. when I had the surgery, I weigh approximately 125 lbs. now. I have been having routine mammograms for at least 15+ years so I have those records for a comparison if it would be of any help. Any advice?

Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 3-4 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.

This is a question for your surgeon but I would say it is OK to resume them 1 week after surgery provided that everything is healing well.
