Can I have rib cartilage removed during a revision rhinoplasty?

My doctore used the lining of the rib graft (perichondrium) to camafluage the right side of my nose but wasent successful can i get it removed in a revision rhinoplasty ?

I strongly recommend SUPERFICIAL (not the deep) temporal fascia to mask nasal irregularities that CANNOT be treated otherwise, I insist, only if the irregulatities can't be technically refined, smoothened, trated with structure rhinoplasty techniques.

If that is the case, the deep temporal fascia has a large millefeuille cake multilayer of collage acting like clay to fill the cracks, gaps and dents, faced down of course and leaving the smooth and gliding surface outwards.

Excellent and really terminanting solution, however, emphasis needed, reassure that the solution is not revisiting the nose.

See at the link below one of my cases of compulsory usage of deep temporalis fascia as last resort "look filter" to mask irregularities, and its excellent results.

Truly, perichondrium is utilized to camouflage irregularities on the bridge of the nose in somebody with thin skin. Rib cartilage may be removed, however, perichondrium is simply soft tissue, and may not be easily differentiated from surrounding scar tissue. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

If it wasn't successful... then how do you know it's still even there? Is it causing any problems? But if you do want it removed, it's possible although sometimes can be a little sticky to remove.
