Removing fillers and breastfeeding?

Question

Hi! I had fillers dissolved/removed and I’m currently breastfeeding my 11 month old baby. I was told that it wouldn’t harm the baby, but after reading about it on the internet, I am now very nervous about it and I feel so bad. Will it affect him?

Presently due to lack of evidence proving safety, we do not recommend fillers or hyaluronidase treatments while patients are pregnant or breastfeeding.  I encourage you to speak with your injector about your concerns.

Hi, thanks for your question. Typically we don't recommend dissolving fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, mostly because we don't have clear scientific evidence as to the effects of hyaluronidase on pregnancy and nursing. That said, there's nothing that clearly indicates it would have any negative effect on your milk or your baby, so I wouldn't overthink it and over research it. If you're worried, I would speak to your provider or your doctor.

hyaluronidaze should have no negative effect on your breastfeeding. If you are concerned, I suggest you to discuss this with your injector.

Hello and thank you for your question. We don't advise any injectable treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding however it is largely due to lack of trials. Please consult your practitioner.
