Hi, thanks for your question. In theory, yes you can use the same syringe for different treatment areas, however in your case, where you're looking to treat the lips and nose, you would typically not have the same type of filler injected in your lips as you would in the nose. Also, you will most likely need more than one syringe, the lips themselves would probably require one syringe alone. I highly recommend that you book a consultation with your provider in order to discuss your options and the amounts that will be appropriate for optimal results in both areas.
Hello,Thank you for the question. Liquid rhinoplasty typically requires only small amount of filler to be added, however, for lip augmentation, usually a full syringe is used for to add volume to both upper and lower lip. I would seek an in-person evaluation by the plastic surgeon, in order to discuss your goals and concerns for the best cosmetic results. I hope this helps.Best regards, Dr. KaranetzDr. Irena KaranetzFellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. While it is safe to use the same needle in more than one area of the face, I would be surprised if a single syringe would be sufficient to produce satisfying results in both places. The other consideration is to ensure the filler used works equally well in the lips as it does the nose. I encourage you to schedule an assessment with an experienced, board-certified injector who can examine you in person and determine the best treatment plan for you.
Dear elenaxxa, generally speaking, it is safe to use the same needle on multiple areas of the face. If you are considering a treatment, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for sharing your question. Yes you can use the same syringe in different parts of the face as needed.
Hi, Thank you for your question. The answer is "no" in my opinion because the hyaluronic acid (HA) filler that you would use for the lips would be inadequate to provide the structural integrity to the nose that you would need in order to achieve the look that you want. Even if that were not the case, most lip injections require at the minimum an entire syringe (1 ml) to see a notable difference in my experience. HA fillers differ in the degree of cross-linking that is present. The greater the degree of cross linking the lower the water retention and the higher the structural support of the filler. The nose would require an HA filler that is more highly crossed linked than the one for your lips. Hope that this helps. Good luck.
Yes, the same syringe can be used on the same patient to treat different areas. Your injector will help you decide how much product is appropriate to get you the results you want.
The amount of filler you require to meet your expectation is variable. Some patients require 2-3 syringes of filler just to meet their expectations for their lip area. If you only want a small volume in each area, it may be realistic to only use one syringe. I suggest you select the lips or the nose and allow the doctor to fully correct the area first before you try to spread the filler to other ares You wouldn't want to stretch one syringe to two areas if the end result is that you wouldn't notice a difference in either. Fillers work but you need a certain volume to create the desired effect.
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes this is possible depending on the filler used and volumes used. It would be best to seek advice from your injector who can give you an overview of your treatment. I hope that answers your question and please always seek a qualified and experienced medical professional for treatment, best wishes
Pain tolerance is different for each patient, 20-30mins of numbing cream should be enough , in addition to this, ice is also helpful with the numbing, and we also advise our patients to take 1-2 Tylenol 1 hr before treatment to help ease with any discomfort. Always consult with a board certified...
Hi, Thank you for your question! The answer is "no". To the best of my knowledge, the longevity of the product, once injected, should be the same as long as the product has not expired.
Hello and thank you for your question. We would always recommend a face to face consult however in this case yes you could still have lip filler however the scarring may become more prominent. It would be hard to say exactly what this would look like and a face to face consult would be best to...
