Will CoolSculpting help me and how many treatments should I get?

I tried vanquish for my belly before but I don’t see any difference. I would ideally love to get lipo but can’t take days off or have the finance at this time.

If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like Coolsculpting with Vanquish or trusculpt iD to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency treatments. You boost the results from Coolsculpting if you add in Kybella injections to melt fat as well.  We often combine Coolsculpting with shock therapy like ZWave, EVIVE, and Cellutone to get even faster results, more improvement, and less risk of combinations like nodules, swelling, neuropathy or paradoxical hyperplasia. Coolsculpting often takes a few treatments separated 8 to 12 weeks apart to get significant improvement.   However, to get the most fat removal, contouring, skin tightening and definition, a VASER HI-DEF liposuction / liposculpture procedure with ThermiRF, Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite and fat grafting is your best bet. In clinical studies, CoolSculpting has been shown to reduce fat in a treatment area by about 20%. To experience more reduction and see the results you probably want, you will likely need to schedule additional treatment sessions. While it might seem cost-effective to do CoolSculpting, if you add up multiple sessions, you could end up paying as much or even more than you would if you opted for liposuction. 
I offer the Awake liposuction technique, which uses tumescent fluid to loosen fat cells for easier removal. This approach usually limits recovery time to just a few days. I recommend scheduling an in-person assessment with a board-certified dermatologist who can evaluate you and help you determine the best treatment for your needs and goals. Always be sure the doctor you choose has the experience and training in your procedure to ensure an optimal outcome.

While I believe CoolSculpting can help you trim up the midsection, the results from that procedure might not be sufficient to meet your expectations. It is likely you would have to undergo multiple treatments and wait for many months to see a positive outcome. At the same time, you could undergo a single treatment of liposuction. I perform the Awake or tumescent liposuction technique, which can be done under local anesthesia and recovery time is typically just a few days. It is quite possible the cost of a single lipo session would be equal to - or even less than - multiple CoolSculpting sessions.
I can also add ThermiTight - a nonsurgical skin tightening treatment - to firm loose skin and create a smoother contour in the midsection. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified doctor who has extensive training in body contouring procedures. A customized treatment plan designed for your specific needs and goals is likely to produce the best results for you.

For my patients, they really like Coolsculpting of the abdomen instead of lipo. They get around a 25% reduction per applicator so usually the plan includes several treatments for optimal results. Sometimes we need to improve the skin quality so we may add ThermiSmooth and we call this a Fire and Ice Treatment. For more skin improvement we may add ThermiTight. Make sure to see someone with experience and can also help in the future if surgical improvement is desired.

We offer both surgery and nonsurgical options for body contouring so there are pros and cons for either option for you. I believe CoolSculpting can be an option but would take multiple rounds of the CA PLUS on the abdomen (and will not tighten the skin) and on the bra line and flanks you would need at least 6 cycles of cool advantage and at least 2 times. All of this could be in excess of $8-10,000. Sometimes clients do not want surgery and are opposed and as along as you are realistic about CS in your case that is fine but surgery in my opinion would be a much better options for the expense and the outcome. Please seek an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgery. Upon assessment the surgeon could tell you if lipo alone or a tummy tuck would be necessary to achieve your goals.

Save your money.  First of all, you'll get a much better (and much more reliable result) with a tummy tuck and lipo.  Lipo alone will help but will still leave some extra skin.  Coolsculpting will require multiple applicators to be used in multiple locations, and probably require multiple treatments -- the cost will quickly rise to many thousands of dollars,  you may not even see the results you want, and could end up wanting some type of surgical treatment afterwards regardless!  Either save up or use financing for surgery - it will be much more worth your while.  Vanquish already didn't help, Coolsculpting may also leave you in the same place unfortunately :(Best to see a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  They'll have the most understanding and experience with the pros and cons of minimally/non-invasive treatments vs surgery with a tummy tuck and/or lipo.

You are a great candidate for liposuction with good skin tone but with Coolsculpting you can non-surgically reduce fat by approximately 25% in each area. I would consider using the advantage plus, twice on your lower and upper abdomen, as well as the cool curve 2-4 times on your wait for best results.
