I recently visited 3 doctors and the one I like the most has the highest fees for general anesthesia and facility fees. The general anesthesia fee is $1,800 and the facility is $2200. Is that overpriced for 2 hours for bilateral otoplasty??? The other two doctors had the general anesthesia at about $1,000 and the facility at $1500. That is a huge difference in price. Thanks!

Hi Mitchell
Otoplasty (ear reshaping) is a cosmetic procedure that helps to recontour the size, position, and shape of the ears to result in a normal appearance. To learn more about this procedure, please visit our website.
With high impact activity, particularly with boxing and martial arts, there is always a risk that your ears may be damaged. There is no way to predict how that damage may affect your ears, but it is a risk you should consider, even if you wear headgear.
If you’re unhappy with the appearance of your upper ears, then cosmetic ear reshaping can be performed. It looks like the upper part of your ears is a little flattened out. By targeting the helix, the curved rim of the upper ear, this may be improved.
