I would like an independent review. This is almost 2 weeks post-op. The helix looks double and not well connected. It also looks like it's slightly "open" in the rear. I also have concerns about how the scars will look, especially at the helix. Will it look normal when it's healed or do I need revision surgery? And how soon should a revision surgery be done?

Hi spensb
Your cost for ear surgery will depend on what is being performed (ear shaping, pinning, earlobe repair, or a combination).
Once Dr. Chang has listened to your concerns and goals, he can create your surgical plan and estimate costs. So you can focus on getting the results you need...
Newborns may benefit from wearing a headband since their cartilage is pliable. However, the cartilage in an adult’s ears is not so wearing a headband won’t make much of a difference. Therefore, otoplasty is the "only way".
