The first picture is three months post surgery and the second picture is three years post surgery. Ever since my surgery, I’ve tried to look on the bright side. I think that I look better than I did before, but I always felt like I was botched and I went back to my surgeon a couple times he just looks at me and says it looks great and I just feel like, I wasn’t sculpted enough . Do I need another surgery? Any suggestion?
Answer: Surgeon gaslighting An unfortunate and all too common phenomenon. You have a potential few options, based on the physical examination. In general, you'll need more liposuction, but mostly you need scar repositioning, something different than simple scar revision.

Answer: There is Room for Improvement You have 2 issues #1 not enough liposuction was done. Recommend liposuction 360. #2 your scar is high, You need a revision- in order to bring the scar down so that you look longer and leaner. You do have a nice shape however liposuction and bringing your scar down will improve your appearance.

Answer: Achieving a More Sculpted Look After Tummy Tuck Hi Brave927287. Thank you for your request regarding how to achieve a more sculpted look after your tummy tuck. In reviewing your pictures, it appears that additional sculpting could enhance your results. This can be achieved with VASER liposuction, which would allow for more precise contouring of your upper, middle, and lower abdomen. I would also recommend liposuction of your love handles and inner thighs to further refine your shape. If you desire, the fat removed during liposuction can be transferred to your buttocks and/or hips to achieve a fuller, more balanced silhouette. I hope this helps answer your question regarding improving your tummy tuck results. Sincerely, J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FASMBS, FICS

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Brave927287, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Abdomen I would suggest adding liposuction to your flank areas to remove some excess fat. During a tuck, liposuction must be limited and some areas not even treated for safety to the skin. Now it is safe to have liposuction.

Answer: Unhappy with results From the submitted photos it appears you would have improvement with additional liposuction for contouring. The scar position is less than ideal but it is more involved to address than suctioning the waist and flanks. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your concerns and learn more about your options.
