My surgeon originally said I needed an fdl which ins approved. Then he later changed his mind and said it was too large of a surgery and he would only do a panniculectomy. My incision is lopsided. My surgeon says the large swelling on the left is probably a seroma, His exact words were I don't care. My incision is also on my leg on the right side, its hard to lift my leg and wear underwear. I had a massive selling that was painful in my groin that has subsided but now the left side is larger.
