Have heard conflicting information from different doctors saying Voluma injections do cause your body to create collagen and others saying it does not. Im confused will it or will it not? Thank you!

Answer: Voluma as a Collagen Stimulator It was initially thought that only certain products like Sculptra and Radiesse stimulated collagen production. However, many of us noticed that when reinfecting the same area we rarely had to inject the same amount as the first to get the same result. Subsequently, we now have good evidence that hyaluronic acid fillers also stimulate new collagen. This is especially true if you inject in an area that is stimulated to make collagen from surgery, peel, laser, microneedling, or tretinooin (Retin-A) use. Many injectors have just not kept up with current knowledge.
