Voluma or lower blepharoplasty for festoons / malar bags? (photos)

Help! I developed festoons or malar bags after covid in December. I’ve had blood work and addressed sinus issues and they prevail. So, I had a consultation with my Botox doctor who suggested voluma under the bags/on cheek to smooth the area. I’ve heard so many negative things I’m worried and may just skip it and get lower bleph -thoughts? Obviously sometimes it can look normal-ish but never like I did before covid just 4 months ago. Help!

Festoons can be difficult to treat.  In many cases filler can make them look worse, especially if placed incorrectly.  Some patients find improvement with treatments such as Morpheus8 or lasers which help create support for the underlying tissues.
