I have been very insecure about my breasts being uneven for as long as I can remember. I love one breast but the other makes me self conscious, because one is noticeably smaller than the other and the nipple is smaller.

Answer: Uneven You did not post photos, so I cannot be specific. Enlarging a breast often will enlarge the area as well. with a fat transfer, you can expect up to one cup increase in size. If you have little breast tissue, you will be smaller. if you need more than one cup increase in size, implants will work better.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Breast asymmetry is common and there is a multitude of procedures that can be used to improve symmetry regarding shape, size and overall appearance. Fat transfer is a good option to increase one breast that is slightly smaller than the other though fat transfer it does not make much change in the shape of the breast it only increases size. increasing nipple size may be challenging but nipple reduction is possible. it’s also important to differentiate if you are referring to the nipple or areola. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. The number of providers who have truly mastered these procedures is relatively few patients should be highly selective an interview multiple providers before choosing they are surgeon.I recommend patient scheduled at these five in person consultation with local board-certified plastic surgeons who seem to do a lot of breast fat transfer and Liposuction. During each consultation ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection a before and after pictures for this procedure. When reviewing after pictures make absolutely sure you know the timeframe of when the after pictures were taken in comparison to the procedure.Early fat transfer results can look very impressive but do not at all represent final results.Final results after pictures should never be taken less than three months but preferably six months or longer from the date of surgery. Look very carefully at all areas treated with Liposuction to make sure there are no skin contour irregularities anywhere. Ask providers to review with before and after pictures with you and ask them to show you exactly what areas were treated and what areas were not treated look very carefully at transition zones between treated and untreated areas. Continue having consultations until you feel very confident you found the best surgeon in your community. For liposuction and fat transfer patients should be more selective than they think they need to be Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
