Thank you for your photographs. Your overall facial structure and shape is excellent. Your jawline has only minimum jowling and your neck looks excellent. A mini facelift with a vertical suturing of the SMAS layer will help to elevate the jowl, straighten your jawline and tighten your neck slightly. I believe you would get an excellent result from this, which could be done under local anesthesia if that is your preference. Recovery is short, approximately 10 days. Best wishes.
For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello, and thank you for your question. You have several options for neck rejuvenation. If you prefer a conservative, less invasive approach, you can try injectables. Fillers are often paired with Botox to produce more dramatic results when it comes to smoothing out wrinkles. There is also Profound RF that works by creating micro-injuries to stimulate a wound-healing response and using RF energy to produce new collagen, improving mild to moderate skin laxity in the neck and jawline. The Cutera Titan uses light energy to heat the dermis and stimulate collagen production to tighten the skin. If you prefer even more dramatic and longer-lasting results, you may opt for a neck lift. Compared to a mini-lift or traditional facelift, this neck tightening surgery is considered less invasive as it requires smaller incisions and targets the neck alone. To determine the best procedure(s) for you, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can do a proper evaluation, recommend and customize the best procedure plan, and ensure the best possible outcome.
Thank you for your enquiry and sharing your photographs. A deep plane facelift intervention generally changes the contour of the jawline and improves the area of the marionette lines. Is also redistributes volume from the lower face towards the cheeks. On its own, the facelift intervention will be able to produce some improvement for the neck but depending on how defined you wish to see the contour of the neck and jaw line the deep plane neck lift may also be considered. Your skin elasticity appears good and if you continue with sensible sun protection you are likely to enjoy the benefits of the surgery for a long time.
It would be very difficult to tell whether just anterior neck lift or lower face/neck lift would be better solution for you. Only on the basis of in person consultation with an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, one could make that decision. Good luck.
Thank you for the question. Based on your photographs, you are a good candidate for a combination of face and neck lift with fat grafting/transfer to your face. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Houston. TX.
YES! a min FL/NL with SMAS plication and either fat grafts or HA fillers would offer best outcomes. Fees in the $8,000-$12,000 ranges
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. The contour along the jawline is only slightly problematic to a point where it can be corrected suitably with a neck lift intervention. A deep plane neck lift procedure would, in my opinion, address the concerns you have about the...
"These are all natural parts of the aging process. What we can do is try preventative treatments or get a neck lift / face lift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous non-surgical options available, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a...
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
