Hi, I’m looking desperately for a treatment that helps me to vanish my jowls and lose skin under the chin. I’m only 35 and have been issues with these areas for almost 4 years. I’ve tried PDO COG threads which were a waste of money. HIFU (which didn’t make any difference at all) and some fillers for marionette line, chin and jawline which I didn’t find useful either. I even think it made the lumpy parts around the mouth worse. Morpheus8? A different HiFu? Botox? Surgery? Any idea? Thanks
Answer: Skin Tightening -- VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction, ThermiRF, Renuvion, Thermage, Ultherapy, Novathreads / Instalift, BodyTite "These are all natural parts of the aging process. What we can do is try preventative treatments or get a neck lift / face lift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous non-surgical options available, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a consultation with an expert. Some options for skin tightening include: - Thermage radiofrequency to heat the skin, tighten it over time, and prevent the aging process - Ultherapy high-intensity ultrasound to contract the muscle, tighten the face and neck, and prevent the aging process - PDO NovaThreads or InstaLift threads for immediate lifting without surgery and long-term collagen production - Sculptra injections for collagen production to areas of the face and neck with crepey skin or early sagging - BTL Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Thermi250 for monthly collagen stimulation with facials - ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma), or Inmode BodyTite for internal heating and tightening with or without surgery - Fillers (or facial implants) to contour the jawline and chin to improve the appearance of the neck - Face lift / neck lift with fat grafting and fillers if you need a significant improvement I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Looking for neck rejuvenation: Know your options Hello, and thank you for providing photos along with your question. Neck rejuvenation can be achieved in many ways. For a non-surgical approach, a combination of treatments is best. Fillers are often paired with Botox to produce more dramatic results. There is also Profound RF that works by creating micro-injuries to stimulate a wound-healing response and using RF energy to produce new collagen, improving mild to moderate skin laxity in the neck and jawline. The Cutera Titan uses light energy to heat the dermis and stimulate collagen production to tighten the skin. For a surgical approach, you can consider a neck lift to revitalize the appearance of your neck and throat. Compared to a mini-lift or traditional facelift, this neck tightening surgery is considered less invasive as it requires smaller incisions and targets the neck alone. To determine the best procedure(s) for you, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can do a proper evaluation, recommend and customize the best procedure plan, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Deep plane short scar facelift and possibly neck lift Thank you for your enquiry and sharing your photographs. Your situation requires careful clinical examination in person. For someone in your age group, there are a number of alternatives both surgical and nonsurgical that need to be weighed in carefully with regards to outcomes versus risk versus scars. As a blanket statement, a short scar deep plane facelift can address the type of concerns that you have and improve to a degree the appearance of the neck. The degree of change that to seek for the neck cannot be assessed on these photographs and a neck lift procedure maybe better suited to deliver the results. For improvement in the appearance of the jawline and marionette lines, a minimal access facelift can potentially be suitable. This can be evaluated better in consultation. As a rule of thumb, if you want to try and evaluate the potential impact of a short scar face lift, you can look in the mirror when you lie down completely flat without a pillow. The redistribution of the facial volumes along the midface and jawline has a lot of similarities with the appearance that you would expect to obtain from a facelift. If this seems like the right choice for you, it would be worth investigating further.
