Hi @mclean.154. You would be a great candidate for hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In addition, I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Fillers are the best option to treat nasolabial folds. Juvederm is my filler of choice, but there are many excellent products available. Consulting with an experienced and skilled injector will be the best course in helping you decide which product is best for you and how much is needed for a natural look.
I agree with you that on your young face, that you should strive for the most natural appearance possible in the hands of a board certified plastic surgeon. Looking at a single photograph gives me the idea of what is your concern. But the best outcome starts with an in-person assessment in a consultation. I think a practice that listens to your concerns and eases you into a marvelous outcome is what you are looking for. You can be injected at the same as the assessment if you have enough information from the consultation process to satisfy your fears. You have options of filler. Hyaluronic acids are marvelous, and last about 1 (Juviderm or Restylane) to 1.5 (Vollure) years in those areas. Other fillers of the Hyaluronic acid types are on the market. Another option that is very effective in nasolabial folds and marionette lines is hydropxyapatite (Radiesse). It lasts 18 months or more and actually stimulates your own collagen production in your tissues. You are also a candidate for RF microneedling. Microneedling may have some additive effects, but adding radio-frequency energy will remodel your fold and tighten your skin. While there are a host of claims, a basic goal like yours should be readily met with a small amount of filler that will look natural and have no negative long term consequences! Good luck with your journey.
A combination approach would give the most improvement. Smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
These lines are normal, but they can be camouflaged with filler. I suggest getting a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps.
Best treatment for nasolabial folds are fillers . Juvaderm, restylane lift, Radiesse or a few other deep dermal fillers would take care of the line. Alternatively, filling the cheeks with Voluma might Roark also. No side effects noted.
Rather than deep folds or wrinkles, the lines evident in the photo suggest very superficial "etched-in" fine lines, which are essentially creases engraved into the skin by years of smiling, laughing, etc. These lines typically respond quite well to the use of a filler injected very superficially within the skin to elevate the creases and smooth them. Belotero Balance is my choice in my NY practice for this purpose in this particular location, since it is a smooth filler that possesses little to no potential to engender the unwanted bluish/gray Tyndall Effect more common with other hyaluronic acid-based fillers when injected superficially within the skin. (In my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available, I would opt for Teosyal Redensity II.) Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and insist upon seeing his/her personal befores and afters of this region before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
Hey there!Having these lines is totally normal. When they are very pronounced they can age the face, but looking at your picture today there is no sign of premature ageing! If you're very self conscious about them then fillers can reduce the appearance of these lines but please don't feel that it's necessary to be done.
HA (Hyaluronic acid) Fillers would be a good option for your concerns about your nasolabial lines. Juvederm or Restylane might be good choices, but I would recommend an in-person evaluation so you and your provider can make the best decisions. With an experienced injector, you should not have any negative long term effects.Best wishes,
Filler, especially HA fillers which are the majority should not have any long term effects and can improve your issue. Tell your injector your goals and hey should be able to adjust your treatment plan accordingly. I would also consider laser treatments and microneedling to lessen any lines and look at your skin care regimen to help reduce further issues, especially given your age.
