Hello, I have uploaded a couple photos where it is visible. When I smile with my mouth closed I seem to get this indentation and round lump thing at the sides of my mouth. I don’t know what it is.. what treatment would get rid of this?
Answer: Lower face dimples Hello Michilli, Thanks for your question. There are certainly treatments that can help soften this area of concern that you have. Your photographs show your face with dynamic movement (smiling) It would be really useful to see your full profile with dynamic and static (no) movement. My best advise would be to have a face to face consultation with an expert. Many clinics provide a free consultation where you can have a thorough assessment. This allows you to think about the options available. A treatment plan can be devised specifically for you. From the limited view the options may consist of skin tightening treatments or possible dermal filler. I hope this helps, we would love to hear about your progress.

Answer: There are solutions..... This kind of contour abnormality can usually be treated with filler injections. However, the dimpling can still be persistent, and may also require botox treatment to the mouth depressors which can be very helpful. Best of luck with your treatment.

Answer: Treating lower face with fillers This dimpling around the mouth is difficult to correct. However, flexible gel HA fillers like Restylane Refyne can be used to give this part of the face some support and to improve the appearance of the lower face at rest and with animation.

Answer: Dermal Fillers, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Voluma, Restylane, Perlane, Under Eye Fillers, Chin Augmetation hi these dynamic (present on movement) hollows are really hard to correct as the muscles of the cheek are actually attached to the undersurface of these areas. These can be softened but not completely erradicated, hope this helps, do keep me posted of your progress, warm regards Dr Prashant Murugkar
