botox can help nostril flare will need to be done every 3 months. at home dermarolling weekly also helps (see link). Best, Dr. Emer.
You certainly can botox nearly any where on the human body to fix aberrant muscle twitching, and there are specific muscles designed to flare the nostrils. However, one thing to always be cautious with when botoxing around the mouth and nose is that temporarily paralyzing those muscles can have disastrous consequences if not done carefully. For instance, it is possible to botox around the mouth carefully, but if too much botox gets in the wrong place, difficulty with mouth function and drooling can ensue. Similarly, around the nose, if not done carefully, the botox can cause issues with getting enough air in that particular side of the nose, as well as the possibility of botox running down toward the mouth with gravity under the skin and causing the above-mentioned difficulty with oral competence. Ultimately, work very slowly with your plastic surgeon in these areas. Just a few units of botox at a time and observe over the coming days how it impacts you. Eventually, you both will hit on a safe routine. Hope that helps!
Based on your description of muscle movement you may have (Synkinesis is a neurological symptom in which a voluntary muscle movement causes the simultaneous involuntary of other muscles).I would recommend getting a proper neurological diagnosis before trying Botox or surgery

Thank you for your question. No, vaping will not impact your Botox results. However, nicotine does tend to age the skin much faster. If you want to maintain your youthful appearance for as long as possible, I recommend kicking the habit.
Hello, Thank you for your question. It shouldn't be an issue receiving Botox injection while you have a blood clot. However, you may have more bruising after injections if you are currently taking blood thinners. I would recommend an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon,...

Hi @Courageous631849! Great questions. There are a few reasons why Botox does not last in some people. 1, You are being under dosed. Average patient uses 64 units for the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet. 2. High metabolizer. Reasons for this include aerobic exercise running, HIIT. G...
Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP. I...
Hi Imaginative880748 There is not necessarily a “right” time to get a facelift surgery. Just like the concept of beauty is subjective, the concept of facial aging can also be subjective. As you get older, volume loss is more dramatic and collagen begins to stretch. The strategy at this time is ...
