Hi Imaginative880748There is not necessarily a “right” time to get a facelift surgery. Just like the concept of beauty is subjective, the concept of facial aging can also be subjective. As you get older, volume loss is more dramatic and collagen begins to stretch. The strategy at this time is to optimize facial volume and lifting the extra sagging tissue. This is the optimum time to have a mini facelift. The average age for a mini facelift is about 40 years old. To learn more about this procedure, please visit our website.
My oldest patient is in her late 80s. I think its a personal preference. I think if you are active and want to look fresher then botox can be perfect. However, it is a little harder
Botox works well to soften dyanmic lines such as between the eyes, on the forehead, and the Crows Feet area. It is not used to improve skin laxity of the jawline. You can consider Silhouette InstaLift, FaceTite, or a lower face lift as options for this area. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and learn about the options available.
botox is for movement lines not for sagging of the face. yes botox is suitable for any age if you are a candidate but you need more than botox for overall facial optimization and global improvement. at home peels, lasers in office, face/neck lift, and fillers. botox for prevention of movement lines.if you want a dramatic change necklift/facelift, Implants and fillers will give you that. noninvasive will improve the area and facetite, threads, morpheus, and fillers can be used. start at home dermarolling to tighten you skin, see emeragecismetics.com where we do free skincare consults daily and recommend emerageskin roller with anteageMD ampules daily (see dermarolling package). With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach:1. micro needling and lasers for texture2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting4. fillers like belotero, restylane silk, juvederm volbella to improve lines and folds5. neck/face lifting if sagging is prominent or early starting +/- platysmaplasty (muscle tightening)6. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness9. PDO novathreads or silhouette instalift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen productionsee an expert for a full evaluation and treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals.Best, Dr. Emer
A variety of options can be used to address the problem you are experiencing including PDO threads. CoolSculpting to reduce fat if there are. In order to tighten and firm your skin, I would suggest combining Secret RF with Fraxel. Botox and fillers are also wonderful options when appropriate. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
Botox is alway good as prevention for permanent skin lines and as treatment for skin lines with expressions. For jawlines the best prevention and treatment is PDO Thread Lift, MINT is the best in my hands for jawline lift. You'll need 1-2 sessions to achieve the best result. Good luck.LOVA - Lake Oswego Vein and Aesthetic
Hello and thank you for your question. We would always recommend seeking a face to face consult for the best advice and treatment plan however from the information you have provided yes of course injectables are an option and can provide great results. Some start with a small amount of filler and botox to see what the effects look like before committing to surgery.Always seek an experienced and qualified practitioner for any of these treatments. I hope that helps, best wishes
You did not say why you are considering the treatments. To give you any advice, we need to know your desires and what you wish to accomplish. Also, from the picture, we cannot see what Botox would treat. You actually look very good for your age except for your skin. I can tell you that I use Botox all the time in people your age and older. I also use it as part of a good skin care regimen because many people have neglected their skin without knowing what they should do. Additionally, over the years, I have found that skin improvement is about 60% or more of facial improvement and surgery only about 40%. Make sure you see an experienced plastic surgeon who understands skin care, injectables, and surgery and will talk to you about what you wish to accomplish.
