Best method for removing mole on the border of my lip (photos)

I am considering having the mole on my lip and the one near my nose removed, but I am concerned about scaring on my lip since the mole is on the border. Is there anyway to remove the mole on my lip with very minimal scaring? I don't want the border of my lip to look strange, I'd rather have a mole. Do you have any recommendation regarding removal?

Moles should be removed by a dermatologist and these types of moles need shave removal and not cautery alone. I suggest you see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question and for sharing your experience.  If the mole has been removed and deemed benign there is no reason to have additional margins taken unless the physician is concerned about a sampling error - essentially the portion removed and analyzed may not have been cancerous, ...

I suggest you see an expert to determine if these need biopsy or not.  General skin check yearly helps limit the chance of a cancer spreading (catches them earlier than later).  Best, Dr. Emer.
