Do I have to walk hunched over after a tummy tuck?

Thanks for your question.  I would recommend discussing this issue with your PS since they know exactly the procedure performed, the tightness of the wound closure, etc.  In my practice the majority of patients are walking normally within 5-7 days of the operation but there is variability.

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.In my practice I recommend to patients to walk hunched over, it is very important to follow post op indications for a better recovery.At this point 4 days after surgery is normal to have swelling.To reduce it, I recommend you perform daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the abdomen and wear a postoperative girdle from thigh to the breasts.Kind regards,Dr. Emma Mallol Cotes.-
