Professional dancer breast augmentation im completely flat chested but I just want a naturally size for my body like a size B maybe C , my only worry is that it will affect my career , I’m aware there is a 8 week recovery time but after this time is there anything I should be worried about ?

Thank you for your question. The answer is no, it shouldn't. After allowing your breasts to fully heal, you should be able to slowly ramp up your activity and get back into your normal routine. I have personally performed breast augmentations on professional dancers without any complications. They have been able to resume their professions just fine.

Thank you for your question. Personally I have performed many breast augmentations on professional dancers. It sounds like you are very reasonable with the implant size that you desire. That being said you should have no problem returning to full activity in 4-6 weeks without any limitations.   I hope this helps.

You should be fine to have a breast augmentation and continue to dance. I would suggest talking to your surgeon about placing the implant under your gland if you and your surgeon determine that your dancing might cause your pec muscles to displace the implant--something called animation--that may be visible when dancing. I usually put implants under the muscle but in dancers, body builders, athletes, trainers, and other performers sometimes it is better to place the implant under the gland.

Hi and thank you for your question!  The short answer is that it really shouldn't affect your career. After a full recovery the only thing that you'll have are larger breasts, scars on your breasts, and a subtle movement of your breasts when you activate your chest muscles (if you go under the muscle).  This last one is where some people make the decision to go over the muscle but this comes at the risk of having rippling visible on the skin if you are skinny and wear a low cut top or bathing suit.  Best of luck!

You should be able to return to full unrestricted activities by 6 weeks, so the breast augmentation shouldn't affect your dancing ability going forward.  One thing you should be aware of, however, is animation.  If the implant is placed underneath your muscle, you may notice that with certain dance maneuvers, your breasts will move.  This is normal and unavoidable, although it can be minimized with specialized dissection of your pocket.  Even when the implants are placed above the muscle, this can still sometimes happen albeit to a much lesser degree.  As always, seek proper consultation before treatment and best of luck!

Thank you for the question. Long-term patients who undergo breast augmentation surgery (barring any complications) should be able to return to all activities with full strength. 
Timing to return to specific types of exercise will vary from one patient to another. Best to check with your plastic surgeon for specific advice. Generally, I suggest patients gradually ease back into the strenuous aerobic exercise 4 to 6 weeks postoperatively, assuming that they are doing well and there have been no complications. Lower body exercise can generally be resumed 2 weeks postoperatively. Use common sense, listen to your body, and gradually resume previous activity. In my practice, I ask patients to avoid contact and strenuous exercise involving the pectoralis major muscles ( such as push-ups, bench press, burpees, dancing on a pole…) for at least 3-6 months.
