Is slight fluid retention after JP drain removal something to be concerned about? (photos)

Thank you for the pictures. If you feel that you have some increased swelling and increased warmth did you need to visit with your plastic surgeon . He or she needs to make sure that you do not have a seroma, an infection or an infected seroma.

It's better to have this checked out by your surgeon, as it would be difficult to say what this could be without an examination. It could be a seroma that may need to be drained.

There is now evidence for concern from your symptoms as described. But it I would encourage you to follow with your doctor.

If you are concerned enough to take the time to write and post a photo here on RealSelf than why not call and/or see your operative surgeon??? 

It is always possible to develop a seroma.  An examination by your plastic surgeon should answer your question.  

It is hard to tell from your photos.  When my patients have issues I want to hear about them and see them promptly.  Contact your surgeon to be safe.  Good Luck
