Can a Bra Line Back Lift be done at the same time as a Tummy Tuck? (photo)

Yes, you can have a bra line or upper back lift and a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty performed at the same time. Technically, I would perform the bra line or upper back lift first then flip you over and perform the abdominoplasty; this way there is not too much tension on the abdomen. In regards to the other procedures you want, it may be advisable to combine some of the procedures. One good option would be to perform the abdominoplasty or tummy tuck with the breast augmentation and lift. I would allow yourself to heal for approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Then I would embark upon your second stage surgery.  I would suggest for your second stage surgery that you undergo an upper back lift and a Brazilian butt lift. The benefit of doing the procedures this way is that you do not need to be flipped during surgery. In addition, your recovery may be slightly easier because only one side of you is hurting -- your front side, or your backside.  I hope this advice helps regarding your decisions regarding bra line or upper back lift, 

To be honest I do not see a considerably amount of flaccid skin on your back to perform a back lift. I truly believe just liposuction will help a lot to reduce the volume. Back skin is very nice because of the thick ligaments to the deep tissues and only after a significant weight lost or aging, the back skin sags.Answering your question. One issue to consider with combination cases is positioning. Doing a procedure on both the front and back will require performing the prep and drape again which takes time and time costs money. In someone who has more to do than an be accomplished in one day, I like to front cases together and then back cases together to be as efficient as possible. 

The combination of procedures to treat the upper and lower body at the same time is common.  Based on your photos, you do not appear to have a significant amount of excess skin on the upper part of your body/back.  It may be possible to treat this area with liposuction alone.  That being said, if your skin does not adequately contract following liposuction, there is a chance that you may require a skin resection procedure or lift at a later date.  Consult with a local board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the best option for you.

Hello and thank you for your question. I'll try to answer all your questions to the best of my ability without having examined you. Firstly, have you lost or gained weight recently?  I would recommend you try to get to as low a weight as reasonably possible.  You may be there already.You need to prioritize what you feel is most important to you.You do not need a bra line lift as you don't have near enough loose skin. Liposuction alone will do the trick. If a Brazilian butt lift is important then I would suction your back flanks abdomen and thighs and use that fat for the butt lift. The suctioning of your tummy may give you a result that you are happy with and therefore precludes a tt.Your breasts look quite full with psuedoptosis which requires a modified lift. If upper pole fullness is absolutely desired then a small implant may be needed. All the above procedures can be done in one setting although I would recommend the suctioning and bbl be dine first. If you still desire a tt thereafter then that and the breast surgery could be done at a second operation. Good luck. Peter Fisher M.D.
