Can I use Xeomin or Botox in conjunction with Kybella?

Question

My problem areas are mainly submental fullness, marionette lines and wrinkles of the chin. Would there be any issues with using kybella to help with the submental fullness and xeomin or botox for the marionette lines and wrinkles in the chin? Is there a period of time that they should be spaced out from one another?

It is perfectly safe and effective to lessen your submental fullness with Kybella while also treating other issues on your face with Botox or Xeomin (wrinkles) and/or hyaluronic-acid-based fillers (marionette lines). If using other injectables in the area of Kybella, I typically like to wait at least 2 weeks for swelling to go down to avoid spread of the neuromodulator. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist to devise an effective anti-aging regimen that addresses all of your needs.

While technically, you can use Kybella and a neuromodulator like Botox or Xeomin, they are not going to improve your marionette lines. they may have some benefit to your chin wrinkles if they are wrinkles that happen with facial expression, not from loose skin sagging. Neuromodulators work on wrinkles caused by muscle movement like in the crow's feet and forehead areas. They do not work on wrinkles caused by sagging skin. Facial fillers will improve your marionette lines and they can be done in conjunction with Kybella in the submental area.

Marionette lines often require a combination of fillers, lasers, and skin tightening. This can be done on the same day as your Kybella treatment. For best results with Kybella, I also recommend a combination approach with thermage/ultherapy/exilis. the first and thus-far only FDA-approved non-surgical injectable treatment for
the double chin. Since there is usually a significant amount of swelling after Kybella I recommend waiting two weeks after a Kybell treatment before Botox or fillers. Dimples on the chin can be treated with Botox. Fillers work better for marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Please

There's no need to space out your various treatments. Kybella and neuromodulators such as Xeomin or Botox will not interact. First, they do not affect one another chemically. Hi there and great question. Yes, Kybella and Botox/Xeomin/Dysport can be used within the same treatment. Kybella is only injected in the neck (below the chin area) while the neurotoxin can be used for your chin wrinkles. As for your problem marionette lines I would advise you to look into fillers. Ones as in Juvederm or Restylane are great options as well as skin tightening therapies such as Ultherapy - would be great options! Hope these options helped!
