Hysterectomy before lower body lift - how long should I wait in between procedures?

I need to have a hysterectomy with prolapse repair. How long would I need to wait before getting a circumferential lower body lift? And is it better to start bhrt before or wait til after my lower body lift? For reference I've lost 140 lbs and have been at a stable weight for 5 months

Congratulations on your weight loss!  Great accomplishment..  Thank you for your history.  Most plastic surgeons would agree that it is best to have your hysterectomy with prolapse repair before your lower body lift.  Then, if you heal without issues, most plastic surgeons would suggest you wait at least 6 months after your hysterectomy with prolapse repair before you undergo a 360 circumferential lower body lift.  BHRT can increase your risk of developing a blood clot after a lower-body lift.  Therefore, best to be off bhrt 2 weeks before and 3-4 weeks after your lower body lift. Thank you for the question. You should wait a minimum of 6 months. You can start BHRT prior to the body lift, and it will be stopped for a period of a few weeks prior and after the surgery.
