Can antibiotics affect freshly done lip injections?

There are surgical and non-surgical approaches to lip augmentation. Non-surgical approaches include botox (slight lift, reducing gum show) and filler (volume restoration). Surgically, you can have two separate incisions under the nose (italian), one incision under the nose (bull horn), one incision at the red/white upper lip junction (gull wing) or two separate incision at the corners, or a combination, depending on your desired look and anatomy. My preferred surgical technique is called the Elelyft, which is a version of the bullhorn approach.

In your situation, it is unlikely to make a big impact for your lip injections. The priority should be to treat an infection if it exists.

Antibiotics do not affect freshly done lip injections. They do not break down lip filler. It is okay for you to take antibiotics.

I am not currently aware of such an interaction. Nonetheless, if you have an infection, your priority needs to be dealing with that infection. You can always get lip fillers redone if need be.

You can safely take antibiotics if you need to for an infection even if you just had lip filler injections recently.

I’ve not hear of antibiotics interacting with the longevity of fillers.
Lip fillers like restylane, juvederm and Beletero last 4-6months typically. Fat transfer can last for years, decades.
Talking a lot decreases the longevity of lip filler.
Adding prp to you fillers will make the fillers last longer and make the injected skin healthier.
