Can I have Sculptra after having Exilis? (photo)

Hello! The answer is yes, but if you have had less than sterling results you may want to go for another consultation or two. I have had far more patient satisfaction with Voluma for volumizing than Sculptra, especially if you are looking for quick results. Voluma gives immediate results and lasts for a couple years. You also would see benefit in a more aggressive skin treatment such as an ablative peel or even CO2 fractional laser to tighten the skin. The less aggressive you go, the less the results. Good luck!

I would not have offered Excilis on your lower face as you have a very thin aesthenic lower face and Excilis will only accentuate that gaunt appearance.  You need volume and this is where Scultpra is the best solution to revolumize the lower soft tissues of the face.  Go for it.  Best guess would be than you will need about 6 vials to achieve optimal contouring of your lower face.  

Sculptra is an excellent option for you!  Sculptra is a volumizer, not a filler.  You will see improvement in your skin as you get more treatments.  Your provider will explain how many visits will be required for optimal results.  Exilis is a radio frequency treatment to stimulate collagen production and tighten your skin.  Sculptra post Exilis is a great combination.Hope this helps.

Yes you could consider doing Sculptra after Exilis.  Exilis and Sculptra are completely different treatments with different mechanisms of action.  Sculptra is a filler that is injected under the skin to stimulate production of new collagen.  It is important to use proper technique for Sculptra injections.  Make sure to see an expert in filler injections.Regards,Dr. Ort
