What are the symptoms of an allergic reaction to Sculptra?

An allergic reaction to an injected substance, including Sculptra, would normally occur within days of the product being injected.  Your description of volume growth months after the injection does not sound as though it is an allergic reaction.  It is possible that you could be having more of an inflammatory response than normal to the Sculptra.  If that was the case, then Kenalog injections could help.  An examination of you would be needed to determine what the cause of your problem might be.  It is possible that you may need further Kenalog injections to help resolve your issue.  I would discuss options with the physician who treated you.   

Sculptra is a substance that causes  cells that make collagen to "wake up". The aging process causes the collagen making cells to go dormant and is one of the causes of the aging process. The injected Sculptra is actually metabolized by the body and is gone after a few months.. Allergic reactions happen very soon after the body comes in contact with a substance, so it not an allergic reaction. I would have to examine you to see what the situation is. I would advise following up with your doctor and working  through your concerns.
